★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Rick & Margo are exceptional hosts. all sites are kept neat and washrooms immaculate. Margo's cleaning standards of the Motel unit is second to none. The furnishings are dated but spotless and comfortable. We are return camping/motel customers and they have MANY loyal returning customers.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Pitka Bay resort is appropriate for every season in the year with a motel for the winter and camping in the summer. We have been and will continue to visit for every season. We simply couldn't say enough positive things about the owners or the property itself. Pure beauty around.

Pitka bay is a very very clean resort, the owners Rick and Margo are amazing when it comes to customer service and keeping the place running.
I cannot put into words how much we enjoy ourselves while being there.
It is up for sale and worth every penny of what they are asking, it is a piece of heavan and needs someone to look after it for years to come...
I sure hope that the new owners are even a quarter as compassionate about this place as they are.
Thank you for all of our years ❤ of enjoyment with hopes on years to come.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ We were heading home from prince Rupert and wanted to make sure that the drive home was also part of our vacation and we are so happy we picked here. The rooms were clean, the view amazing and the owners great. We ended up staying an extra night because we just didn’t want to leave!! Definitely will be coming back and hope the new owners are just as wonderful as the last!!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I think this is the nicest resort in the area, we stayed here a couple of nights to recharge and explore Fort St James. It's such a lovely little bay, the kid would kayak out to the island and made friends immediately. Even though there was no playground, there was nature's playground, kids loved playing in the sand, collecting rocks etc. The owners seemed nice and gave us a great spot #12 across from the lake, a lovely view to wake up to. It is an RV Park where you are parked in a row but it didn't have that closed in feel.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ $1,120/week the new owner was charging us when the neighbours were paying $1,350/month cause the dealt with old owners for the motel portion of the resort. Can’t believe we had to pay that much and it had torn floors, said it had full size fridge but was mini apartment size, said it had full size stove but was mini gas stove, bathtub didn’t drain properly, bathroom fan didn’t work, said they took out garbage everyday but only was taken out 2 times in 10 days, said they change bedding after a week but bedding was never changed, shower is rusty and wet walls and the toilet kept running. Hense why we left the place to go elsewhere. Horrible new owner, lies through his teeth. Then got over charged but he did correct it. Is very suspicious to if it was on purpose and was hoping we did not notice after everything else we experienced
