About Pita Pit
When Pita Pit began back in 1995, Braveheart was Best Picture, Seinfeld was all the rage, the Worldwide Web was just taking off and the DVD was new—and a major innovation.
So was the idea that drove Nelson Lang and John Sotiriadis to open their first Pita Pit in Kingston, Ontario.
Today’s trend toward healthier eating was still a long way off, but Nelson and John were ahead of the curve. They were convinced the time was right to offer a fresh, healthy alternative to traditional high-fat, high-carb, high-calorie fast foods. Their Lebanese-style pita sandwiches packed with fresh veggies, grilled meats and zesty sauces were an instant hit with the college and university crowd, especially since the store stayed open late—well into the wee hours of the morning, making it perfect for students taking a break from studying or coming home after a night of partying.
Within two years, franchise stores had begun opening right across Canada. Two years later, they were opening in the USA where the concept took off immediately with consumers of all ages.
Today, there are more than 650 Pita Pit stores in North America, Europe, Asia, the Middle East and Asia-Pacific.
Clearly, Pita Pit’s “fresh thinking, healthy eating” motto is an idea whose time has come.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Went here before all this virus thing started and the young guy preparing my order was extremely rude and disrespectful. Wasn't the only person that came in 45min until close time and heard him say some pretty bad things under his breath. Sad this is the only pita place in town now. Definitely would not recommend and or be back. Pretty sad.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ So much variety. Loaded pitas, our favourite in Brandon. We're back again and again! Texi mexi pita is tops. Don't forget the grilled turkey, sprouts, Swiss, olives, and teriyaki and aoli sauces. Mmm.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Order a brisket bowl on skip that I will be taking to work for lunch so ask for sauce on the side and they give me no sauce so I call and they said they usually put in bowl and charge extra to put on the side also very tiny for 12$ staff were no help at all WILL NOT ORDER AGAIN FROM HERE.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ My hubby and I use to frequent Pita Pit at least once a week, but I run my iwn summer business and since they shortened their evening hours, it really didn't fit into our hours. He had the Club Pita and I had the falafel pita both were very good but very much skimped in the fillings.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Love the experience you get tasted good everytime I come and staff is fast and excellent! They are nice and food is made fast. Staff like to have friendly convos and ask questions about your day. They reccomend there favorites and everything is nicely organized for at ease of consumer!!!

It especially put me off bc I could see a long dark hair (clearly one of the workers who all had the same hair type and length) in the lettuce bin. The worker could not understand anything I said (asked for a simple chicken pita). Even when speaking louder/ enunciating AND pointing to the items it was a struggle. Pita wasn’t horrible but this wouldn’t be my first choice due to price and cleanliness.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Delicious food! Especially of you're looking for a healthier type fast food. I Love their options. I wish their service was quicker but we did have a pretty big group of friends so it's a little understandable. Having more than one employer working there would probably do wonders.
