Pita Pit

Absolute worst experience ever! I waited 40+ minutes for my food even though there were only 7 people in front of me. There were 3 people working and none of them seemed to care at all. Not quite sure what 2 of the employees were even doing, just walking around aimlessly. They didn’t even apologize for the wait. Where is the manager of this place ?!! Furthermore they doused the wrap with hot sauce (could barely eat it) and they forgot to add falafel and feta cheese to my order !! So I didn’t even get what I had asked for. Wish I would have never stepped foot in this place! What a disappointment

Waited for 15 minutes for a pita, and then asked for a refund. 4 customers ahead of me, there was a lady doing an order for many people. She stated while the line behind her kept getting longer, that they wouldn't allow her to order ahead of time. Seems counter productive to me. I work across the road, so it's convenient for lunch, however i would've had no time to eat it. If you're on timeline, go somewhere else.

Great pitas, get them grilled. Ingredients are always fresh and the staff make a great pita. The location is close to the Tesla Supercharger, just across the street. The recently started making smoothies, although the small for the value they are very good. Always consistent, will go to more pita pits.

Extremely long wait time - over 20 minidress for lunch and the service staff cooking and preparing the food were not wearing masks. The food was good - but the experience was not.

Our order on May 20th was just overall a terrible experience. Our order number was 507149186 We received our order confirmation at 7:50 and then my husband left to go get it. He arrived around 8:00 and asked if it was ready yet. One of the employees said no it’s still being “processed”. Seemed like a strange thing to say since I received a confirmation email at 7:50and a phone call at 7:52 saying there was no more chicken shawarma (We switched it to steak). My husband continues to wait and texts me that people coming in off the street are getting their orders fulfilled before him, even though we ordered ahead. At this time it was 8:24, 34 minutes after we had received our confirmation email. So I decided to call pita pit to see what was going on. I asked if my order was ready and she told me yes. So I said well my husband has been there a while waiting for it. She says “oh yeah I think I know who you’re talking about, he seemed really confused.” (She laughed) Which that in itself seemed very rude considering the only reason he was confused is because of the staff members, and he had already asked about his order so if they knew it was done why wouldn’t they tell him !!?? Anyhow they bring him his order he gets to the car and there are no cookies even though we ordered them. So he goes back in and the employee says “yeah we had no more carnival cookies, I was gonna ask you if you wanted something else” Like what? You were gonna ask him but instead you didn’t give us any cookies at all ? Mistakes happen I understand, people forget things that’s ok! But playing the blame game and acting like the costumers are the ones with the problem is absolutely not ok , ESPECIALLY when it’s actually the employees running around like chickens with their heads cut off. Also we were not the only ones upset that night. I believe someone broke your door out of anger and you called the police ? Yeah well stuff like that happens when you have incompetent staff treating customers like they’re stupid.

I've always loved pita pit, this one will fry whatever you'd like on the grill, even pineapple, mmm pineapple. It's located next to Tesla chargers which made the decision to have lunch here very easy on our way back to Ottawa.

I have been to this store 5 or 6 times now when we drive through Kingston. Service was always good. Food was hot, made to order and fresh. Bonus is the drive thru. There are lots of restaurants in the area so it's good for families with picky eaters. We went today to this store and it was complete opposite of our other times. Today's experience was by far the worst experience at a Pita Pit. We ordered 2 pitas and both were wrong. They tried to fix things but the veggies were severely undercooked and very little meat in the pita. By the time we got the pitas we ordered, they were cold. The young lady making the pitas apologized multiple times and it wasn't her fault. The employee working the grill was the one who dropped the ball. Although I appreciated her apologies, we paid good money for the pitas and the whole experience was terrible.

We stopped by this Pita Pit on the way home from a road trip. The 3 people working the closing shift were so sweet and went out of their way to accommodate all my allergies (including cleaning the grill even though they were closed). They apologized numerous times for the 40+ minute wait but it was understandable, given the thunderstorm earlier that day. Thank you for being so kind and respectful of my dietary restrictions!
