★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Such a gem in Airdrie. The staff here is friendly and cordial. The food presentation is so nice and the garlic dip they serve with fries and falafel is AMAZING. Its a must try place. Portion sizes are very generous and food is good too. Its entirely value for money. highly recommend this place to Falafel lovers.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ The food is 5 stars hands down but it has the slowest service of any walk up food counter I have ever visited. I’ve been to Pita Basket 12 times and 8 of them, I had to wait 25-35 minutes to even order my food then it took another 10-15 minutes to prepare. So- excellent food, DO NOT attempt if you’re in any kind of rush because you’ll leave hungry and without any food.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Wife n I went here for lunch as she was craving Donair. The staff greeted us when they were ready to give us there full attention, not say hello and then ignore us to help other customers (this goes a long ways for me as a customer even if I have to wait a minute or 2 for them). They were very tentative and offered options that we don't normally get at similar restaurants without directly asking ourselves (love it when all the options are given to us even if we say no). The beef was on the greasy side and they went heavy on the onion but overall good food (4 stars IMO) but the service is what gives this place 5 Stars.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Food was pretty good and the service was very fast for the lunch rush. I ordered the falafel plate and was mostly satisfied, except the falafels are so large they are a bit dry and not that crispy. It might just be my personal preference but the falafels weren’t my favourite. Would probably come back to try their garlic cheesy fries since they looked pretty good.
