Our roots started in Palestine when our grandfather started this restaurant business in the middle of last century in a village in Palestine. With the great passion he had for food and its varieties, he developed aboutunique recipes to ensure customer satisfaction.
My grandfather’s restaurant provided the residents of the village with fresh ethnic foods such as hummus, falafel, beef and chicken shawarma.Jerusalem shawarma & Bakery is the result of the grandfather experience in Palestinian cuisine.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Good place to eat and food is mostly consistent. Sometimes you get a bad take but that rarely happens. The only issue I had is that sometimes they mess up the order and give me chicken instead of meat or vice versa for the wraps. Happened once or twice but not a big deal. Sometimes they even give free Baklava which is pretty cool. If you go in that happens more often and overall they are pretty chill.

Today I got my mixed shawarma wrap and got free baklava and a cup of tea both of which were really good.
I always look forward to coming here on my days off from working up north

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ One of my favorite locations of Jerusalem shawarma chain. Amazing staff, always greeting with a big smile and happy faces. I always enjoy my food there. It is also great to see the owner working there and helping around to make sure everything is working at the best. The best part that their veggies fresh and so delicious. I love there Falafel wrap and the donair one. Family platters are so convenient for a family and great price for the meal. I love how you can customize your order the way you like ?

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I am making this post for my family friends. They have been here before and the food is great, but their last experience with the service was very upsetting for them.
In their religion they do not eat beef. When they ordered they were very specific not to have ANY beef. Unfortunately when they got home there was beef, having it touching the other food they were not able to eat anything!
With their guests waiting, they made a call to fix the order, they were ignored at making any attempt at fixing the problem. Told to just call their manager and complain! This does not feed their guests, it's a stressful position to be put in when they were not the ones who made the mistake!
Why was their order not remade and ready for pickup!?? I work in food service and if I made this mistake of an order I address it, I fix it and I apologize!
I am a frequent customer at this location and I will not be giving my business anymore and I know my family friends are feeling the same!
It's too bad you put out money for good food and it's the service that ruins it for everybody!

Price is fair, today I even got free baklava with tea! I also like that each time we enter the restaurant we are greeted with a smile, blessed to have this location close to us

I absolutely loved the mixed meat salad but I had at this location. Thank you to the staff at this location, I will see you again when I come back to Calgary!
