★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Good place to go for a variety of items that you normally wouldn't see together at one store. There is everything from paint and supplies to lumber ,kitchen gadgets and neat gift ideas .if you watch the flyer there Is really good deals on seasonal items. Staff has always been helpful and I have made a few returns without any issues over the years. The only drawback for me is that I quite often forget they are there and go to the other larger chain stores.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I had a concern while I was there and asked to speak with the manager. She was basically snippy to the point of being rude. I have found with Home Hardware stores you either get great service or totally incompetent staff, and on occasion out and out rudeness.
Better staff training and spending the money to hire more qualified, knowledgeable and professional staff in general would help.
I think I've given up on Home Hardware stores and whenever possible I will drive the extra distance to go elsewhere from now on.

They ask for you phone number I'm not going to give you my number. I give them a fake number sometimes just for a laugh. Customer service it's OK.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ My first visit to Home Hardware since I moved to this area 2 years ago, and I have to say, I should've come much sooner. This is now my go-to local hardware store. All because of Al ? The other staff were very helpful as well, but Al seriously outdid himself. Home Hardware definitely has a great employee in this man.
Al was incredibly helpful, answered all my questions & then some, gave me logical recommendations which I went with, walked the store with me showing me where everything was, ordered in more items for me, made sure I got the generator I ordered paid for, and was overall just a really nice, decent, patient guy.
I must say, other employees here were also incredibly helpful when I needed to place orders over the phone. When some items were at zero in their warehouse - a freezer I wanted - they found me a decent alternative within the approximate price range very quickly. Hugely appreciated!
I've already spread the word to family & friends as well. Thank you to Al & all the other employees who helped me today. I shall be back. Again & again ?
