Top rate customer service. A company that actually answers the phone (very rare nowadays) and gave a same day estimate via email. Once we confirmed the go ahead, the owner came down and did the final measurements (quote did not change as my measurements were good). As we were doing a combo wood and chain link fence, we needed to get the wood posts in prior to the chain link. We had several rain delays for the wood posts, pioneer was super understanding and accommodating the whole way through! There were some issues with the installation not being done correctly (too low to allow for landscaping), pioneer came out and fixed it right away, no questions asked. They are an excellent company and would highly recommend them!! Prompt, efficient, priced very well, and incredibly helpful and patient in answering all my questions.

My experience with Pioneer Fence is similar to other negative reviews. The work was delayed longer that was reasonably expected, the quote was revised and ended up significantly higher. In the end it was par to competitors quotes. Don’t let the initial low quote fool you into booking with pioneer. The job was done by subcontractors, three young kids that were more interested in leaving the job rather than finishing the job. They left the worksite without notice or completing the job. What was done was extremely poor workmanship and incomplete. Left the worksite littered with garbage and as the day progresses the quality of work regressed. When I raised my concerns to Mike, he was rude and dismissive. To his credit, they eventually did send out someone to fix the many problem areas. Overall, the experience was negative, and would neither book a job through pioneer or recommend them.

Ordered a black chain-link gate for my driveway took about 4 days longer than said to come in which is no biggie but when I got it home I realized some of it wasn't painted where was painted was runny, also the main top support bars weren't straight and dented. I didn't realize this till halfway through installation so return wasn't really an option although I did get and receive 10% back which is peanuts but I guess it covers the cost of a new can of black spray paint. I do not and would not recommend this company.

*Please read before doing business with this company* I called Pioneer Fence on Aug 23/19 for a quotation on a sliding gate with privacy slats and when I spoke to Mike he asked me to draw up what I wanted and email it to him. The following day I did just that and drew up a picture of what I wanted with measurements and I also stated *privacy slats* as clear as day on my quotation because I like my privacy obviously. 3 days later I received a quote for my sliding gate and *privacy slats* for just under $1800 and decided to proceed with my order. Mike came out and did a final measurement and revised my quote and added to it for closing in the ends of the gate to my garage and to the neighbors garage. Both ends were small, one side was 13" and the other was 17" and my quote went up 21% to just under $2300 and was told it would be done close to the end of September. I got a email saying they'd be installing the fence on Oct 3 and asked for someone to be home for when the installers got there and started which required me to miss some time from work. The installers installed my sliding gate but couldn't finish the ends for some reason and the *privacy slats* were the wrong color. My old fence was dark brown and I the *privacy slats* were white. Mike was there and seen the color of my fence and I thought nothing of it. I called Barb about what was going on and the very second the *privacy slats* were mentioned her attitude changed. She got really snarly and told me that I was going to install the privacy weave myself and that customers usually do it. When you hire someone to do a job you can't expect a customer to finish it for you, that's ridiculous. I had to close in the fence myself until Pioneer fabricated whatever it was they were going to do and according to Mike he hadn't even started on it 3 days later. I went down there in person to speak to Barb and mentioned to her about reducing my quote if she expects me to do the privacy weave and the fact I closed in my own fence and that they haven't even started working on finishing mine. She just got really snotty and ignored me when I left. She said she'd email me when they'd would come to finish it but I called the next morning and expressed my displeasure about the events ever since the *privacy weave* came up. You guys just plainly don't want to do it and its not your customers responsibility when your getting paid to do it and its in the quote. Told Mike I was giving him a review and he didn't care. Pioneer should have just accepted the fact they had to do some work and not push it onto their customer. With the time off work and the increase of the quote to almost $550 you can't expect me to do the privacy weave on top of that? So I'm paying you for the work you did and I'll get my privacy slats from somewhere else and put them in myself. I'm not paying someone to work for them. I agree with the other reviewer when she said that you are rude.

Just want to say it was nice of then to come to my house but after that it took Mike 12 days to email me back to say he was not going to give me a quote .no explanation at all .like really .but other companies came back to me in a day .I guess he soo picke of who he put up fences .

Great experience with them from initial estimating, build and adjustments during build. Fence looks great! Pricing was excellent. The installers engaged were great as well (install disrupted by a storm, did a great job adjusting their schedule to complete the work). Definitely recommend Pioneer Fencing to others for quality fencing work!

The entire team was great to work with. Came out and spent time figuring out exactly what I wanted and provided a variety of options I could chose from. Quote was very reasonable (beat competitors by a mile) and the fence material looks brand new after a couple a years. I asked for a couple changes to the original plan and they responded very quickly with no problems at all. The installers were super friendly throughout the entire day of installation (even when they discovered I had a ton of rocks underground). Would recommend to anyone.
