Overall a really good stay! As others have mentioned, some areas of the hotel could use some updates. We were disappointed that there was no room service or house keeping available, and parking was quite expensive. Definitely no "extras" included even though we were in one of the nicer rooms. One towel each, one roll of toilet paper, one bottle of water - for two people staying for 4 days. Staff were friendly and the location is truly unbeatable.

If you're thinking of staying at this hotel, consider looking at the Vancouver Marriott Pinnacle across the street (5/5 stars for them!). I truly regret staying here with my one guest and am even more disgusted by how rude staff were as well as their responses to my guest's review. We felt very unwelcome here, and judging by other reviews, we are not the only ones. The other guests who stayed on our floor were also incredibly frustrating and disgruntled, and while that is not the hotel's fault, them & their stay were deemed more important than ours as their constant complaining was blamed on us - even while we were sleeping, we got interrupted by staff for a "noise complaint" - ridiculous!! We tried to talk & come to an understanding with the manager and another staff member who instead insisted we would get kicked out and were very aggressive even while we were calm and NOT creating any noise. I'm very disappointed in the way the manager and staff handled the situation and absolutely ruined our stay on baseless "noise complaints" by other uncivil, crude guests. ROOMS - subpar; not worth the price of the stay. The rooms were very outdated and quite clearly the walls are THIN, as you can hear the TV from other rooms down the hall - in which case they possibly could have done a better job placing guests in rooms. SERVICE - absolutely awful. The staff (& managers) we, unfortunately, had to deal with were incredibly rude & made distasteful comments towards my guests and I. I would recommend better customer service training. As other reviews stated, I sadly reiterate that staff was rude. We do not want any excuses made by the hotel in regards to our stay as to how horrendous the experience was due to the staff. We simply regret staying in this hotel and have recommended to family and friends to stay at the other hotel across the street - in which the staff was absolutely lovely & did an excellent job separating guests especially while in a pandemic!

The service, location, and food was amazing! Best price for two people to dine out, and the food was prepared to perfection in my opinion. Beer was very fresh, cold, and good. The rooms and building however are nothing spectacular. The building is old and a lot of it hasn't been updated. The carpets in the room was gross, the air vents were black around them. When we woke up after the first night we noticed everything in our room was covered in dust. The ventilation and are quality in the rooms is bad.

Hotel is in a great location, the view from the harbour king suite was amazing! Outdoor furniture would be nice on the patio so you can sit and enjoy the view. Service was great at both the front desk and the in house restaurant. Only down fall was the bed was super hard and not the comfiest. The pillows were also sized for a twin or double bed, not your traditional king size bed pillows which were not the comfiest. Would stay here again, just might bring my own pillow!

Let’s be clear, the superpower of this property is their location. SO close to the waterfront and Stanley Park, and all the other hotel options are much more expensive. If you are a budget traveler like me, it’s a great spot for a short stay if you want the best access to the water and downtown area. Decor is dated yes, but clean and the staff and service is solid. And the area is very safe. I had a VERY good check in experience and the staff were a delight. Good restaurant that is big and bright.

My wife and I spent 4 nights here for our anniversary and it was amazing. Staff was so nice. The gentleman at the front door (sorry, not sure what to call them) doormen we’re so friendly. Food was really good too. Housekeeper with the tattoos was really cool. Had a lot of fun. Thank you so much

My mom chose to book this hotel because it has an indoor pool and hot tub. We were disgusted to discover that the hot tub seems like it hasn't been cleaned in months. Within two minutes of us turning on the jets in the tub, the amount of dead-skin-cell foam that generated on the surface of the water was reminiscent of a very excessive bubble bath. Gross. Needless to say, we didn't go in. We decided to check out the pool. After taking a few steps down the steps in the pool, we agreed that the water felt thicker than it should. We quickly retreated back to our room to rinse off the pool water. I truly hope they clean the amenities there, but it seems like they do not. They do have a nice gym though! I didn't use it, but just peeked in. The rooms themselves were decently cleaned. You can rent a movie on demand for $25.99 + tax (extortion) but there is no option to log into your own streaming service accounts if you want to watch a movie. The house coats provided also felt very old, thin, and a little crusty. For $180/night, I expected a little better than what it was.

Spacious rooms with nice views, friendly staff. Parking is expensive but that's par for the course. Pet friendly which is a very nice bonus. Walking distance to plenty of good eats, and the harbor. Room came with a balcony which was very nice. Shower head was very high pressure with no way to change settings. Overall a great place to stay, fairly priced. Hotel does feel a bit old-school
