Friendly staff, rooms are always clean and well prepared. Some of the resort is showing its age and could use an update. Coming in from Haliburton at night - keep your eyes peeled for the sign - much easier to see since they fixed the light!

Motel accommodations at a boutique pricing. Could clearly hear every word spoken in adjoining room, which is not the fault of the occupant but the poor construction of the building. The noise was accented on the other side of the room with use of a hallway situated microwave that was directly against the wall of the room. Again, every use of the microwave could be heard. $200/night for a room worth $60-70/night is not acceptable value. Checked out and did the daily drive from Toronto for my event in Minden instead of getting a poor night's sleep all weekend.

Not worth it unless you’re here for golf. The front desk staff are ill equipped, the rooms haven’t been renovated in decades. I used to come here all the time with my family but it hasn’t changed in over 20 years. The boating isn’t available - actually most amenities are no longer available. No biking, boats and the fitness center has been closed for years. The rooms are falling apart. Broken sofabeds, broken toilets and broken doors. This place is a disappointment.

This is a dive! I wish I could say it's charming at the rate they charge. If you don't believe me go find the ice machine ! :/ Even the bench by the waters tired over! Once been here for about an hour and I'm lost! The only things in the room are a Bible ( pray nothing crawls into your bed at night) And a phone book! No map no welcome no restaurant menu. Front desk girl is a robot just hoping to get through the shift. Shaking my head wondering why they don't drop the word resort and just call it DON'T TOUCH anything stone! Gross...

We stayed at this hotel for one night. The hotel from top to bottom is run-down, although sheets and towels are clean. The restaurant that is in the hotel does not offer breakfast even though it opens at 10am, so hotel guests find themselves driving into Haliburton just to grab breakfast. Simple suggestion is to have a breakfast menu and offer breakfast for your guests. We stayed at the hotel when there was a hockey tournament in town. Children were running the hallway all day, afternoon and evening, slamming doors. When we opened our door to our room, there were multiple families hanging out in the hallway talking, drinking and partying. When we mentioned it to front desk and about the noise level, front desk said β€œthere should be no disruption to your stay at anytime.” However, she neglected to say anything to these families and followed up with β€œI’m sorry”. Why is it that when you have tournaments in town, these families are not all placed on one floor or one wing of the hotel so disruption is minimum? She told us that the families have access to meeting rooms, but then refused to speak to them about encouraging them to use these spaces given the complaints from others at the hotel. Won’t be back, and definitely don’t recommend this place. Terrible customer service.

We stayed at the resort as we had a hockey tournament. I booked here for the heated pool, and that it was said to be a really nice place. Boy was I wrong. The pool was not heated, it felt like swimming in snow (says the kids). We were put into the building (Fairway) at the back of the resort, so to even get to the pool we’d have to drive. Extremely unfortunate with small children. The room was alright, but super outdated, carpets had pieces coming apart. They did NOT have breakfast, which was extremely disappointing. The room was hot/musty, when we arrived we were all fine, but the next morning we all woke stuffed up/cold like. We paid $238 for one night, now wishing we stayed at one of the motels for cheaper, likely nicer. Unfortunately will not recommend to anyone.

Lovely resort for business or pleasure. Huge space, open airy feel. Conference rooms were comfortable, although the cold air return could use a tune-up! Considering the age of this place, it has held up well and I would love to go back! My family used to frequent pinestone for many consecutive years, and I was happy to finally join their ranks! Maybe I'll get to golf next time! See you there Joe!
