They (and I) are truly enjoying the whole experience. I would recommend Corey as a teacher for anyone, regardless of their age or skill level.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I signed my 3 year old up with Corey for his Mini Musicians class, and she absolutely loved it. Every week it was one of her most favourite things to look forward to, and with COVID it was one of the things she missed the most. During COVID I decided to take piano lessons, and started doing lessons with Corey over Zoom. It has been an excellent experience, and I can only imagine how much better it will be when I get to do my lessons in person. I highly recommend Corey. He is wonderful for both kids and adults!
Update: It's been 2 years and my child is now doing individual classes and still loving it.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Corey is the best teacher I could have ever asked for to teach my daughter piano. She was shy and reserved until he started teaching and playing games to make it fun and exciting. Now I can’t keep her off the piano! His teaching methods are spectacular and amazing! He makes the student feel so comfortable and proud of themselves. Highly recommend him if you’re looking for a piano teacher!!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I signed up two of my kids at Piano Expressions last year and we have been so fortunate to work with Annette Hay as their teacher! As first time piano students my kids learned so much from Annette’s calm encouraging teaching style. Having the opportunity to perform online during covid and participate in the games and challenges was a well rounded and inspiring introduction to piano. The lessons were fun, technical and artistic and I would highly recommend Annette to any level of student.

He is engaging, motivating, and captivating. He makes piano practice something my son looks forward to. Goes absolutely above and beyond in everything he does. I would recommend him 1000%!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I had seen lots of great reviews for Piano Expressions with Corey and placed my child on the waiting list. We were first in line for next year. In the meantime my 6 year-old daughter tried a few piano classes elsewhere and she didn't seem to be enjoying it, so we stopped after only a few classes. When a spot opened up, I signed her up to try again and I'm so glad I did. My daughter began taking lessons with Ms. Annette, and her gentle encouraging teaching style, combined with Corey's fun monthly challenges, prizes, educational games, and recitals have really helped keep my daughter focused and motivated to keep practising. Highly recommended!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Corey is such a great teacher and very patient with my daughter! She has a learning disability and he did research on the best way to teach her and songs she can understand to play. He makes it fun for her that she loves learning to play and enjoys her lessons and never feels discouraged when she doesn't understand something because he helps her to understand it. By far the best place to get piano lessons from!!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Corey is a delight. As an adult student, I’ve been inspired by his incredible skill, enthusiasm and passion to teach his craft. If I had a piano teacher like Corey when I was a kid, I probably wouldn’t have quit lessons as a “bored” 11-year-old. Corey engages his students; he has fun by creating games and contests to motivate practice, and deepen learning. I started lessons this fall and Corey has helped me reignite my joy for self-expression through playing. Thrilled to recommend him.
