★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Recently discovered Pho Surpryz and we’ve been back several times over the last few months. Great food every time. Really tasty red and green curries and pad Thai. My only comment would be that we wish the serving sizes were a bit larger but that’s not a deal breaker. Give them a try!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Ever since moving to Durham, I’ve tried a few different “pho restaurants” Pho Surpryz has now become my “go to place”! However, I personally have a few favourites when ordering from here as I haven’t enjoyed everything that I’ve had here. It isn’t the best I’ve ever had as well, but it’s definitely the best in the area in my opinion.. I always order the Tom Yum Soup & Lemongrass Chilli Chicken!

FOOD IS AMAZING only 4 stars due to the fact that I want to order all the time but they close super early most days and its upsetting when you want good quality pho for dinner. Only place in durham I go HIGHLY suggest if you are a PHO lover even the wife loves it!!! Beef cold rolls are amazing and pho beef special pho soup is out of this world!!! We miss dine in !!!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ The food at this place is nothing but excellent. We got the Lemongrass chicken, Chicken Red Thai Curry and the Thai Basil Fried Rice. Everything tasted so great. Our waitress was also excellent. She saw that one of our orders was too spicy and she was willing to exchange it. It was very nice of her. Best customer service we received. We look forward to coming back again soon.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ We discovered this place by accident. The surprise of it all is their name, they ive up to it., Its truly the most pleasant discovery we have made. We have been here 3 or 4 times already; today was our return visit, talk about flavour, if you love the fragrance and taste of lemon grass, thai basil a bit of spice and lime you will return. We encountered the friendliest owner ever. The chef cooks like a pro too. look beyond the simple decor and go there to just enjoy the food and the freshness of the food, you will come back again and again. The owner is charming, and that helps a great deal Remember, you will go home a happy and content client.....the restaurant is local and you wish them well.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Never again. I ordered lunch special general Thai and basil Thai chicken. 90% rice, 5% veg or batter 5% chicken. General Thai chicken has nothing Thai about it. It taste like cheap food court orange chicken. I would recommend paying a $ more and going to the sushi today for the lunch deal or drive to Oshawa Thai Cuisine

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I frequently come see Jenny and family here for their pad Thai and general Thai chicken, depending on what I'm feeling like eating.
At a very reasonable rate for lunch and selfsame for dinner, the price doesn't match the quality at all, which is to say that it'd be easy to spend double what you do here, for the same thing, in some upscale Toronto spot.
Instead this is one of the best places in Whitby for an excellent hot lunch or dinner, either for dine in or take out.
Very friendly, very quick, and happy to customize orders if you discuss it with them ahead of time.
Personally, I trend to having their Pad Thai with chicken, no coriander, no chili flakes, extra peanuts, and it's fantastic.
Would highly recommend everybody try this once (then keep coming back for more!)
