It’s a cute little cottage, full of lovely yarns and other crafting inspirations in Peterborough’s East City. The owner is very knowledgeable and very helpful. She creates her own patterns and they are also available in the store. Her partner does some wonderful work with some unique woods and his work has been incorporated in the shop. For any yarn crafter, this place is a must see!!

Her workshops are well planned and contain numerous notes which explain complex techniques. She is extremely knowledgeable, and when you take a class, all your materials will be ready and packaged for the first lesson. Every lesson is planned down to the last detail, and there is no extra charge for staying longer if you need the extra time and attention. She's tough (I know, a "tough" knitting teacher? If you're expecting a fuzzy grandmotherly experience, this is not that place), but you will learn so much, and your projects will turn out beautifully as a result. I like the shed set up as a tiny shop at the back of the house - it's cute and warm in winter/cool in summer. Yarns range from the very affordable to the slighly more upscale. Christina can order any yarn you wish from any provider, and the Addi Click needles she sells are fantastic.

I’m amazed how quickly she has taught me to knit accurately and properly for a beautiful finish. Plus her classes are enjoyable and fun. A great group of ladies to spend an afternoon or evening with. And such a great excuse to get out of the house and do something for ME! I highly recommend joining a class. But even if you can’t, this yarn shop is fantastic for supplies and wonderful patterns. Christina can find you anything you need!
