We are very happy with the school and Daniel his piano teacher is not just talented, but amazing with kids. He’s been so patient and encouraging and one of the reasons our son has stayed motivated to continue. We also like that the students perform for each other on the monthly music theory classes in addition to the recitals. It has been very motivating and given him a feeling of being part of a community. The transition to online classes during COVID has also gone smoothly as the Susan has been flexible, available, and easy to communicate with.
M	Mete Ismayil on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ 2021 Update: After just 4 years of practice with Susan, I was able to go from a complete beginner to a certified Level 3 player and to a point where I could even compose my own pieces. Susan always comes up with right amount of a challenge for her students to keep a constant progress. Apart from these, she is a great friend to hang out with and she keeps her community of students engaged with piano recitals, casual gatherings and fun trips. Susan is a great teacher with a passion for music and especially, piano. She is really good at tailoring the lessons to your style, teaching different types of techniques, explaining music concepts in detail with a lot of useful examples and making the lesson fun and enjoyable. She is also very patient and friendly. As someone who has never played piano before and having made a noticeable progress, I highly recommend her to all the adult beginners.

She tailors the classes to both the musical interests and the ability of her students, adeptly mixing in theory along with practical learning. New pieces are selected to keep you making consistent progress without being overwhelmed, and always with an eye on your goals and preferences. She provides insightful and instructive feedback as you learn, which I have found indispensable. The group classes also really help keep you motivated as you improve alongside your peers. If you've ever had the desire to play piano but felt uncertain as a beginner, I'd highly recommend starting lessons with Susan.

Susan was very conscious of protocols to make sure we are all safe. We just finished a ten week course and I cannot wait to go back for more. Susan is very patient and listens to suggestions. She is understanding that as adults, life does not always allow time to practise, and she never judges; just encourages. At the same time, she challenged us. Hoping to maybe take a music exam one day!

I surprised my significant other with a one-on-one piano lesson and even as a complete beginner she was able to learn a tremendous amount of information in a single session; including learning an entire song. I found Susan online and signed up - couldn't be happier! I finished the first level and am now on level 2. Susan makes sure to go at your level and makes you feel confident in your playing. Another great thing is she gives specific feedback to each student, thus tailoring your experience for the pace at which you are progressing - whether fast or slow. I took a beginner class and it was great, but throughout it it was evident she has the training to also teach those at the highest level. Everyone in my class intends to take more classes with her.
