My experience with Carbon Group is specifically with Said! I met him over the years dating around 2016 when he helped my spouse and some of their friends find rental homes around Toronto. We had our initial meetings in his office to assess our budget and he gave insight and recommendations on the market and referred us to various mortgage brokers at competitive rates. (Who knew the market would grow so fast since then!) Fast forward to 2019/2020 Said helped us in a different chapter in our lives as we started to assess if we wanted to sell our principal residence in Toronto or find a new home that suited our new needs and lifestyle. He was gracious to handpick specific listings, walk us through the properties, and assess if the value was worth the price, review various comparables, or new neighbourhoods. Even visiting multiple listings, Said has been by our side through this process as we continue to find our new ideal home! He’s upfront on what is a fair price to pay or what we could sell our property for. And he even provides negotiation strategies and tactics to ensure he’s looking out for his client either on the buyer or seller side. Fast forward to 2021/2022 - we were also looking at investment properties. He was able to share listings around the GTA. However since neither of us are from Toronto, we pivoted our strategy to invest back in our home towns. Said is a global individual and multilingual which is asset for us! Leveraging his relationships and network, Said was able to refer us a real estate company in Montreal and we were able to purchase a rental property back in 2021! When we were ready to invest in our second investment we share feedback that we need a different team with full service. That’s when he recommend Christian and his wonderful team in Montreal that provides everything from investment analysis and property management! Working with that team, we were able to close another deal this year in 2022 and secure rental tenants. Overall, it’s amazing how Said and his team has been by our side for support as we have grown over the years in the different chapters and needs in our lives. I first met Said over eight years ago. I was looking for an apartment to rent and he had one available for rent on behave of his client. I was impressed by his diligence and meticulousness. He carefully reviewed all the paper works that I had to submit and confirmed that I had renter’s insurance by calling the insurance provider. Over the years, Said kept in touch and inform me of the real estate market. In 2021, when I was finally ready to buy a property, I called Said to help me find my dream house. As we visited houses, I realized that Said really cares about the interest of his clients. Said would point out issues with the house that I did not notice nor trained to notice. He recommended not to buy the house if he felt it was not a good purchase. We finally found the right house and Said was able to secure it for me even though my offer was not the highest.
