Penner Trailers started in 1990 with just one employee in a small 1500 square foot facility. Production and sales started with car haulers and general trailer repairs, such as lights and hitch installations.
As the years went by, the company’s sales reputation for excellent quality trailers started to grow. Penner Trailers began to hire more employees and were soon in the market for a larger facility. In 1998 Penner Trailers moved into the current location on Highway 12, just north of Steinbach. In 2009, a second location was added in Winnipeg, just inside the Perimeter on Highway 1 East. And with the ever growing demand for retail trailer parts and towing supplies, Penner Trailers Steinbach did a major renovation and facelift in 2017 in Steinbach. And in 2021 Penner Trailers introduced themselves in the Brandon market opening a brand new location on 1620 1st street north and is now serving the Westman area from this new location.
Penner Trailers’ services range from sales, leasing and rentals, to parts, repairs, installations and safeties. As in the past, Penner Trailers’ primary goal is to fulfill each customer’s individual needs and requirements, with a commitment to their customers, unparalleled in the trailer industry.

From the moment I called and was helped by Robert in service, I had a great experience with this company. I sent Robert pics and we discussed a plan of action. Boat was towed there and I got a confirmation phone call it was received. The repair was completed on the day promised and the quote was exactly what I was charged. It looks fabulous! Had no issues on the long ride home. They really cared about doing a great job and Robert explained and showed me everything they did. When I blew my bearing, it blackened my one wheel rim badly. Without asking, the guys cleaned it like new. Both rims! Now that's service, I will recommend you to all! Thanks!
