This bakery is a true hidden gem in Montreal. The bread and pastries are perfectly balanced in flavor and density. Their baguette’s and croissants are the best in the city by far. Highly recommend that you treat yourself to Patisserie Madeleine many times in your life.

They recommend me the miso cheddar croissants ?, and I loved it! Minimalistic bakery, one of each product on display, and 5 or 6 different options. Friendly service and reasonable prices.

Incroyable! I’ve had a lot of croissants in our beautiful city and this is hands-down one of the best. Their desserts are perfectly sized and priced, and they are absolutely delicious. It’s a stunning little shop that smells wonderfully like butter, which is a perfect place to find the perfect treat. Staff is super patient and nice too!

We tried two desserts that were hazelnut based. You could tell it’s quality stuff. They were quite delicious! An employee also very patiently helped us place the order over the phone. I’m just sad they’re quite far from me ?.

Every single thing Patisserie Madeleine offers is absolutely delicious. All look so neat, professionally done and clean. Flavours are very clean and delicate as well. As a pastry chef myself, I appreciate the good work and amazing pastries. I am especially a big fan of Miso-cheese croissant. If you are an almond croissant lover, you’ll find the best and natural tasting one.

Best almond croissant I’ve tasted in my life. I was visiting from Toronto and I would usually try local patisseries anywhere I go and this place sold the best almond croissant. It’s full of almond paste fillings, perfectly caramelized bottom of the pastry which gives the gooey taxture, punch of buttery aromas, and flakey layers of croissant. It’s got everything that I can ask for for a almond croissant. Good thing I don’t live too close other wise I will end up gaining 100lbs just eating their almond croissant. ? Paris breast was also good. Bold in flavour. But none of their cakes and pastries impressed me more that their almond croissant I end up buying 3 more. Customer service was also exceptional. I can’t speak French but they were trying their best to communicate with me and answer all my questions and accommodated me. Also the price of pastries are reasonable which is very nice (Toronto patisseries are too expensive ?) I would 100% go back if I’m in MTL. Thank you for amazing work and service!

Elegant, elevated, and flavourful desserts…everything you’d expect from a chic, French bakery. The lemon tartelette was just the right amount of tart with a very smooth and creamy texture of the lemon curd. You can really see the attention to detail and complexity in execution with the layer of merengue, curd, cake, and crunchy crust to round out the textures and flavours. The chocolate chip cookie is not your typical North American style cookie if you’re looking for one that is chewy and soft in the middle but crunchy around the edges. This one is almost like a biscotti that only went through the first bake with excellent chocolate and perfect for dipping in coffee.

One of the best pastries place in Montreal. From outside, it smells so good. So tempting to go inside. Inside, the decor is very minimalist and welcoming. The staffs are super nice and knowledgeable. The pastries and coffees are out of this world. I will definitely come back.
