About Parkside Dental Clinic
Since teeth whitening has now become the number one aesthetic concern of many patients, there are many products and methods available to achieve a brighter smile.
Professional teeth whitening (or bleaching) is a simple, non-invasive dental treatment used to change the color of natural tooth enamel, and is an ideal way to enhance the beauty of your smile. Over-the-counter products are also available, but they are much less effective than professional treatments and may not be approved by the American Dental Association (ADA).
As we age, the outer layer of tooth enamel wears away, eventually revealing a darker or yellow shade. The color of our teeth also comes from the inside of the tooth, which may become darker over time. Smoking, drinking coffee, tea, and wine may also contribute to tooth discoloration, making our teeth yellow and dull. Sometimes, teeth can become discolored from taking certain medications as a child, such as tetracycline. Excessive fluoridation (fluorosis) during tooth development can also cause teeth to become discolored.
It’s important to have your teeth evaluated by your dentist to determine if you’re a good candidate for bleaching. Occasionally, tetracycline and fluorosis stains are difficult to bleach and your dentist may offer other options, such as veneers or crowns to cover up such stains. Since teeth whitening only works on natural tooth enamel, it is also important to evaluate replacement of any old fillings, crowns, etc. before bleaching begins. Once the bleaching is done, your dentist can match the new restorations to the shade of the newly whitened teeth.

He was very patient with the questions I had and did a great job with the work that I needed done. I would highly recommend. It was all around a good experience.

I have had dental insurance my whole life but have not taken advantage of therefore my dental health is not where I would like it to be. I was treated exceptionally well at Parkside and the treatment was very thorough and professional. Dr. Anderson made my experience relaxing as well as confident that the treatment plan he offered was what I needed - not more not less. He did not suggest any treatment that I did not need just because I had the insurance to cover it. I have and will refer Dr. Anderson to anyone needed dental care.

He is great with kids, very realistic about treatment options. They are flexible with booking and I have yet to meet a hygienist there I don't like. I highly recommend Parkside dental to anyone looking for a new or replacement dentist.

My hygienist, Laura, was amazing and explained things to when needed. Dr. Low was amazing also. I would definitely recommend your office to others.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I had a great experience here yesterday. Annie was very friendly and did a great job! She explained what she was doing, why, and gave it to me straight regarding the status of my teeth. She gave practical advise on how to manage my teeth going forward. I especially appreciated that when she asked me a question, she removed her instruments from my mouth so I could answer. Dr Anderson was so friendly and helpful as well. He was gentle, answered all my questions, and explained what he was doing through the process. He took extra time to teach me about my own teeth and how to proceed with a couple issues. The front staff was helpful as well, taking care of my insurance quickly and being friendly to chat with. I will definitely be going back there!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I hadn’t been to the dentist in years and was nervous about the whole process. I’m so glad I chose park side dental, they had such a friendly staff and put me right at ease. Dr. Brad Anderson was so personable and answered all of my questions. Even better yet it was my toddlers first time at the dentist and he made her giggle and took such good care of her and her teeth. I went in for a cleaning with Anne, and had a few cavities, however, they were able to get me in within days to get them fixed! 10/10 to Dr. Brad Anderson and staff!!!
