Deb has been a real estate professional for over 12 years, working throughout the GTA and surrounding areas, as well Calgary. Deb has a Bachelor’s degree in Business from the University of Western Ontario, worked in sales and marketing for a major homebuilder, and most recently has worked her way to becoming a very successful Realtor in the GTA. Deb’s extensive hands-on experience working in both new and resale markets is a huge asset when dealing with all types of scenarios, be it working with first-time home buyers, renovations, investment/income properties, or dealing with new builds/developers.

We reached out to Matt Forbell on the recommendation of our mortgage broker in May 2020 and immediately felt Matt was someone who understood what we were looking for and respected our very specific parameters in what we wanted in a house.
In our experience Matt was someone who listened and processed information we were explicitly and implicitly providing over many months to gain a true understanding of what we wanted. Matt honed in on the perfect place for us in the fall of 2020 (one we wouldn't have noticed on the MLS listings on our own). He encouraged and arranged for us to see the house multiple times to truly understand the space. When the time came to negotiate Matt gave us all the support/advice we needed to value the house but also respected our wishes and carried out our strategy even if it seemed unconventional or aggressive.
We never felt rushed by Matt and always appreciated how excited he was to find us the perfect place no matter how long it took and with our high expectations. We started the hunt late last year, we had to put a halt on everything during the Covid 19 shutdown period , then restarted again in the beginning of summer. Through this whole time , Matt has been very patient and understanding. He also advised us when was the best time to restart the search with no safety concerns.
When my husband and I finally decided on the property we would like to purchase, Matt demonstrated very impressive experience and wealth of knowledge of the market , values, negotiation strategies until the deal was closed. Furthermore, he provided us with support for the move-in.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ My wife and I recently went through our first home purchase ever and needless to say we had almost no idea how things work and what we need to do. Matt was always nice, helpful and patient with us with all our relevant and irrelevant questions. He never seemed annoyed to explain to us how things should go, he was never pushy and he let us make our own decisions. Jokingly we called him our uber driver because he was taking us from one house to another in his car (this happened just because we dont drive nor have a car and he was generous enough to save us the trouble of reaching ourselves the destinations - seriously we cant thank him enough). I am 100% sure you will have a great experience with Matt. Our process last a long time (april - november) because of many unforeseen issues: outbidding by other parties, losing houses because they didnt pass the inspection, bank issues etc and Matt was there for us with answers to all of our questions and helped us in the best way possible. He has great connections with super professional people (brokers, home inspectors, etc.) and all his contact recommendations were professionals just like him.
