Paddle Surfit

My boyfriend and I rented a couple of SUPs from Bodie a couple of weeks ago. It was his first time and I hadn’t gone paddle boarding in a very long time. Bodie was very welcoming and very professional. He gave us a great and informative mini lesson on the right techniques to be using the SUPs. The lake was absolutely beautiful and it was so pleasantly warm! We did not want to get out. After finishing up our session, Bodie had even let us stay in the water for a bit longer while he was putting the boards away. We had a great chat and would definitely come back! Great experience with Bodie. Will definitely be using his services for other summer and winter activities that he offers. ?

We had a phenomenal time here! Bodie was such an experienced & professional instructor and hospitable host. They have great equipment and excellent local knowledge. Paddling around Heffley Lake is just amazing. We saw Loons, Bald Eagles and an Osprey fishing while we were out on the water. Highly recommended!

Beautiful lake. Saw lots of wildlife. Bodie was extremely helpful and gave us great suggestions for other nearby destinations. Would give more than 5 stars if I could and absolutely will return!

Our first time ever Stand Up Paddleboarding, it was so much fun we went back the very next day ! ( so nice we did it twice ) The staff is so professional and kind. They are very thorough in cleaning and sanitizing their equipment, from life jackets to paddle boards, everything is cleaned and sanitized before use. I was very impressed and reassured. Such a fun activity for families or couples or singles. The perfect social distancing activity too. Get out and enjoy B.C. ! Beautiful lake and a super fun experience. 5 star !!

Enjoy the best day with Paddle Surfit. The first time we paddled with Bodie was almost 10 years ago. And now, every time our family is in Kamloops we travel up to beautiful, Heffley Lake to SUP with Paddle Surfit. SUP is absolutely accessible to everyone - kids, grandparents, dogs. If it is your first time, Bodie makes it so easy, you will feel like a pro almost immediately. Get out there and enjoy this stunning spot.

Did not stand behind products he sells. I spent $2000 at his business. The paddleboard blew a hole in the rail after two seasons of very light use. He kept stringing me along for more than one year saying he was doing something I had to keep following up because he certainly didn't. In the end it was one big pretense that he did something. Do not buy here. Costco at least will look after you....buy there. These SUPs are not worth it.

Most of us had never been paddle boarding or kayaking but Brodie was an amazing instructor and we felt so empowered as we took to the mighty seas.....in all seriousness...highly recommend....they go way above and beyond!!!! Thank you!!!

Today I had my very first SUP experience and it was absolutely amazing. Brodie’s instructions were clear and he gave a fantastic demo. I felt very comfortable to ask questions and safe to begin my paddle. I was able to enjoy a magical 2-hour paddle around the lake that left me craving for more. To top it off, at the end of my paddle, Brodie encouraged me to take a dive off my board, and so I did. It just topped off the whole experience. He is very positive and full of life. I highly recommend coming here. Personally, I’ll be back again. Thank you Brodie for a wonderful first experience! ??
