Pacific View Windows & Doors - Victoria

We just had 17 windows replaced thru Pacific View Windows and Doors. Steve was awesome to work with during the sales and quoting process. Blair took over during the install process and communicated very well with answering questions via phone call and text. The install went very well. We were extremely impressed with Michael and the crew with how well they cleaned up at the end of each day.. The PacificView team did an incredible job replacing the old windows and large sliding patio door in our 70's Gulf Island home. Not only were they competitively priced with fantastic product, but their knowledge and professionalism can't be beat. Blair, an owner and installer, took the time to walk me through every aspect of the project in advance of the final estimate. I knew exactly what the challenges were (our place is quirky and a little crooked) and what to expect upon completion. He managed and exceeded my expectations. The other two companies quoting our project never said a word. The windows and doors are beautiful, the project was completed on time, their communication fabulous, and the house neatly cleaned upon their departure. We are thrilled! Sorry, the photos don't do the 13 windows justice - trim still to come!

Very professional work! I'm a tenant and the installers were respectful, friendly, efficient, explained the new window and were open to answering questions. Definitely would recommend them. To add to this - the installers replaced my door and again were friendly, respectful and paid attention to details (fussy door to replace). They even went out of their way to find parts they were temporarily missing to complete the work. Definitely would recommend them!

We were extremely pleased with the service and product we received from Pacific windows. They were very helpful and informative with the whole process, friendly and professional. Installation went perfectly and they cleaned up spotlessly afterward. We love our new windows!

Pacific View replaced all the windows and doors in our townhouse. The quality of service and work was first rate. Top marks to Steve (the sales rep) and to Tim and Matt (the installation team). They were all courteous and responsive. And, the quality of the work and the windows and doors themselves are all very good. I'd recommend this company to anyone.

The installation of windows was a very pleasant experience, from measurement to completion the team was pleasant, cordial, friendly, engaging, and considerate. The only downside was that there were some strong odours from the sealant that persisted and were strong. A couple of weeks later the team was back to install a door, and we raised concerns about the smell. Team member Michael really stood out. He listened to our concerns about smells, and offered options. He is an asset to the company. I didn’t have to much to do with the other guys that were here, they did seem friendly and knew the work well, Michael was the inside man, and did a great job of it. The sealant is still quite smelly and we are in the process of trying to deal with it, but so far Blair is being responsive, so I hope to be able to bump this review to 5 stars. Update: I've bumped my review to 5 stars. Blair followed up with us, purchased an air purifier and delivered it to me at work. It has definitely been helping. There is still a smell, but it is definitely improving, and the air purifier is taking care of it. For future customers, I would recommend considering a few things. Talk to the installers about the sealants to explore what your options are if you are scent sensitive. In some ways, I think our situation was a worst case scenario, our front room is basically a wall of windows, with more windows on adjacent walls. The windows were installed just after record rainfall and flooding so the ambient moisture was probably as high as it could be, and the temperature was about 5 degrees C, so curing was certainly prolonged. That said, we have now moved in to a serious cold snap, and the difference the windows are making compared to last year couldn't be more pronounced. When we wake up, the house is still warm from the night before even though I now let the fire die over night. If I did that last year we'd wake up able to see our breath. The other aspect is that the house is much more quiet. Although we live quite rurally, the main road is nearby, and I immediately noticed that I wasn't hearing the road at all. So, all in all, highly recommended. I firmly believe that there is always the possibility of problems with any job. What makes the difference is how a person handles problems that arise, and Blair and his team have met every challenge and gone the extra mile.

We were very impressed with all aspects of our dealings with Pacific View Windows & Doors. A consultant came to the house and quickly helped us to hone in on good choices from what might have been a daunting selection. From there, another visit by the chief installer to take careful measurements to ensure that the correct doors were ordered. A long wait (supply chain issues during Covid!) but the 9 month wait was worth it. Installation was top notch by two obviously very experienced installers. No easy task with a house dating from 1910 but in less than a day we had new front and back doors - well insulated, well constructed, perfect design in keeping with the house, and installation site left spotless. Friendly and helpful installers (they even provided the perfect tool and advice on how to remove a couple of stained glass panels from the old front door). And finally, dealing with the finance department to make payment was a breeze. Very impressive indeed!
