★ ★ ★ ★ ★ A masterful guide who got us results. I happily recommend Dan and the Knucklebuster. Not only did I feel safe because of his experience in the CG, but he was all around quick and safe and put us on the fish.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ What an amazing experience! I just got back from 2 days of fishing with Dan in Port Renfrew! We were on his beautiful 26’ Eaglecraft Aluminum boat aka “The Knucklebuster”. Dan was great on the wheel and made a smooth ride on a rougher day and put us right on the fish. I caught the catch of a lifetime. We will be back soon Dan! Thanks again! You’re the man!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ We have fished all over Vancouver Island for a number of years and this year (2021), we decided to try Pacific Sport Fishing Charters at Port Renfrew with Dan as the Owner/Operator and Fishing Guide. We spent 4 full days fishing with Dan in late August/2021 and the fishing and overall experience with Dan was second to none. Dan had us onto good fishing everyday and we caught numerous Spring, Coho, and Salmon as well as our limit of Halibut and many different types of Rock Cod. We landed a huge Halibut that was 126 cm and weighed over 75 lbs. We also caught numerous large spring salmon and came home with coolers of frozen, vacuum packed filets. Dan`s boat is spotless and his fishing gear is excellent. He is an incredibly safe boat captain and his numerous years of coast guard experience really show when it comes to overall boat and water safety. I can honestly say that Dan is number one in comparison to all of the other fishing guides we have had over the years (and we have been fortunate enough to have some very good ones in the past). Cannot wait for next year and another fishing adventure with Dan and his Pacific Sport Fishing Charters.
