★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Great spirits with a great story behind them. Be sure to stay and chat with Luke about his work when you visit; he built the distillery, cultured the wild yeast, and he forages all the botanicals himself. I also recommend petting Frankie the dog.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I love a distillery where passion is paramount and the product reflects that passion. Chatting with Luke today was a real pleasure. Tasting his hand-crafted vodka and gin was absolutely lovely. The quaint, sandwich board signs along the highway drew us in as did a quick Google search of the product. But what sold us was Luke's hospitality and welcoming nature. The man sweats passion and knowledge for the product and the fact that it reflects the local flavours of this region. The Vodka is a standout for sure and u like anything I have tasted in the best way possible The gin is truly unique and unrivaled in its flavour profile.
Visit Pacific Rim Distilling, it's a lovely experience. If you are smart you will take some of the amazing gin or vodka home with you to remind you of how unique this part of the world and it's spirits are. Well done Luke!!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ We enjoyed Luke’s accommodating nature and the floral flavours of the vodka and gin! Ended up taking a bottle of gin home, with zero regrets! He explained to us the technique he’s mastered with the wild yeast that gives the floral features and the numerous berries and flowers he takes the time to forage himself. Great dude that makes great booze! Highly recommend!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ What a cool experience in Ucluelet! Everything was locally sourced ! I appreciate Luke’s story of how he got to where he is. That was an awesome tasting very memorable and we will be back!! Super unique tasting gin and vodka we will be enjoying tonight ??? The local liquor store sells different bottles as well that he might not have on hand!!
