Beer was pretty good. Had the Tranquility IPA. A little funky but good. Nice patio with views of the harbour. Dog friendly. Shared the 2 piece halibut and chips. Fast and friendly service. Good inside space too for other times.

This is one of our favourite brew pubs, always friendly attentive service, food is fast and delicious and exactly what is expected from good pub fare. We usually have what is on special or the wings, which are amazing, perfectly sauced and still managing to be crispy and meaty. We cannot mention this gem without saying the beer is just perfect. Our usuals keep us coming back for more Hip as Funk IPA, Creepy Uncle Dunkel, Potts Pilsner. Whether you go on a beautiful summer day to enjoy the sunny patio or a cozy warm booth when it’s raining/sunny out, the incredibly staff here will take such good care of you, like a true guest - dare I say friend! Thanks Moon for being so consistently fabulous!

Good pub food, promptly served by friendly staff. Their dark draft beer, "Creepy Uncle Dunkel, is a local favorite. Great for a casual get together with a group of friends - reservations recommended if you're bringing the whole sports team.

Six months ago I would have rated the food here five stars. We used to regularly drive from Saanich on Fridays nights for beer and their awesome Ceasar and buffalo chicken wraps. We haven't been in a few months due to Covid, but after tonight I don't think we'll be back for a while. When our wraps arrived, they were only 2/3rds full, so I opened mine up before taking a bite to rearrange and realized they hadn't added the Ceasar sauce to my wrap. We realized later they had forgotten the sauce on my partner's as well. Then, while I had the wrap open, I realized they had replaced the usually amazing friend chicken with what looks to have been a breaded chicken cutlet, that had been cut into pieces cold and then deep fried, so each little piece was sad and overcooked. When I told the waitress I didn't have any sauce on my wrap, instead of taking it away, she just plunked a thing of Ceasar sauce on the table. She never came back to check on us again until it was time for the bill. To add insult to injury, both our beers weren't cold. Who wants luke-warm beer? I don't know what's going on, but I'd really rather they just raise their prices a few dollars than cheap out on the food if that's what it's about. Maybe they lost the chef that made the great food? Either way, I'm super sad since this used to be one of my favourite restaurants in town.

I've been here a number of times and have had only good experiences. Their food is decent and fair prices. Typical pub fare. Staff are friendly and they brew some good beer. Would recommend if you're looking for a place outside of the downtown core for a pint and a bite to eat.

Nice pub to visit. Good beer/spirits and friendly staff. Food we had was good too. Harper our experienced (5 days on the job) server was great. Overall the place is great. On to the next one on the BC Ale Trail ?

If you need evidence for what the hospitality labour shortage looks like go here. Two people working a packed brewpub on the long weekend. They were the hosts, bartenders, servers, and one had to be the manager. By no means is this a complaint and it has no impact on the 3 star rating. I felt really bad for them. They were working hard. Must have been a stressful night. The 3 stars is because I just don't think this place would be any better even with a full staff. The food was meh. Reminds me of a Boston Pizza without the pizza. Typical bar food you can find pretty much anywhere these days. The flavours and presentations is actually very comparable to the food at Cineplex VIP. Even their beer menu is nothing to get excited about. We came to try their shaft flight but it's only available at their lounge which is closed on Sundays and Mondays. Anyway, if you want the details for the food: - Cauliflower bites with watered down Thai chilli sauce ($10) - For the price you can't complain I guess. Tastes like battered cauliflower. That's the best way I can describe it. - Deep Fried pickles ($8) - You get four bug slivers. They're good. Had a good crunch to them. Again, for that price I can't complain Would I come back? Not to the brewpub. It's a skip. I'd return to try their lounge though.

One of the best Breweries I have visited. Went in for lunch. Beers were great and had a nice range from light to dark and IPAs. I left with 2 4-packs. The halibut fish and chips is probably one the best I've had too. The fries felt a bit to dry but that's just my opinion. The chilli was delicious! Would definitely visit again and try their single malt and cocktails. Photos taken after actually trying the food and drinks for rating accuracy ?
