Dont recommend at all!! Absolutely disgusting... I have never had a poke where the fish is not fresh where it felt like it was sitting there for days. The crab meat where you cant really mess up is just terrible. I dont know what I was eating. The rice was too sour - probably too much vinegar. On top of it, it wasn't cheap. $12 for the main bowl... I could get a nice and fresh poke bowl from Pokeritto.

I've been to Pacific Poke just behind the Forest Sciences building twice so far. I love it! It is like Sushi but you are actually full after one serving. You get to choose a base of rice, brown rice, or whatever you fancy and fish, such as tuna or salmon. Kale, Cilantro, Avocado, beans and other elements are added in a tasty looking presentation. Staff was super friendly, food fresh and really yummy on both occasions. I would have given 5 stars, but make it only 4 as I believe the prices to be a bit too high. Particularly considering the fact that this location is mainly catering to students.

There are only 4 options for bowls, but they are somewhat customizable as you can choose your base and add some toppings if you wish. Haven't actually tried any of the seafood so I can't say anything about that, but their tofu is pretty good and the toppings and seasonings they use all have a rich flavour. A little expensive but not terrible for poke. There's not much ambiance here since it's housed inside a UBC building with classes and students studying so it's more of an eat-and-go place, but still a great place as far as UBC food goes,

I am a big fan of the Keto ricebowl with half brown rice and half sushi rice and all the vegetable toppings. I wanted to try the Korean bowl on multiple occasions but they just didn't have the octopus in stock so I couldn't get the full experience. It's all good though.

UBC food service, expect nothing but dissapointment. The cut of fish is suspicious. Went there because too hungry, almost fainted. Not recommended

Generally tasty as I’m easy going but super annoyed that sometimes the rice portion is obscenely small, as if rice is expensive? The bowl is like 1/3 full. So annoying. Also, every time there’s a new staff member I have to argue to not get charged for a substitution because of an allergy. So annoying. Edit: and the meat was icy.

Like the food, but prices have realllly gone up. It was expensive before, but this price increase really makes it not worth it.

It is about the same price as other poke places on campus, but with fewer toppings and blander toppings. It also tastes significantly less fresh than other poke spots on campus. If you’re in a pinch for food on the south side of main mall, the one on Agronomy is not a bad option (2 stars for convenience) but otherwise I’d look elsewhere.
