Terrible service and very poor workmanship.

I would never ever build with or buy a Pacesetter Home again. We have had SO many issues over the years we have lived in our house. 1)Siding and fascia poorly installed, falling off, 2)framed our walk in shower withpwith not cement board and our tiles around the tub all popped off. Took MONTHS to repair 3) shoddy plumbing overall 4) eating nook light fixture installed not in the nook but 7ft from the centre where it should have been. We were told it was "for a long table" had to push for reinstallation 5) exterior walls with windows that leak because there isn't any tyvec, peal and stick etc. Just poorly installed tar paper. $3000 repair. Run fast and use a different builder.

We were looking at purchasing a Pacesetter home. We had found one in Fort Saskatchewan. As we were looking at a property we noticed that in the basement was water. The builder said that this was normal because of spring thaw. This reply showed us the type of poor workmanship of this builder. If you want great workmanship with a builder that builds million dollar homes go to Montorio home builders. This builder is from Italy so there are tiled floors, open staircase, arch entrance ways, real brick pillars in the front porch. These are just a few things of what you get for the same price or lower. You can tell right away that there is pride in their workmanship. They have new townhomes without condo fees.

Disheartening customer service. My husband and I chose Pacesetter Homes as a builder in Summerwood because we had visited the show homes on our home search and were extremely pleased with the craftsmanship and answers provided to our questions regarding construction and building processes. I will say, the sales team was lovely to work with. Wende was truly the sweetest and most helpful sales rep we had encountered. However, that was the extent of the "superior" customer service we have been given. The uneasy feeling began at our walk through. The house itself was beautiful; being first-time home buyers we were eager to get in and excited to see our new home. The walk-through was fast, we were rushed, and things were "inspected" and "approved" by the supervisor without us actually seeing them - we should have been more diligent, we just did not know better. He would "check" and then tell us it was all good. We left feeling like we had been taken advantage of because it was obvious that we were new and unknowing. We noticed a scratch in our granite sink at the walk-through, with the representative still there, we asked about having it touched up...and the words out of her mouth were, "oh no, you already signed the paperwork." Followed by other concerns that were dismissed in the following days as we settled in and noticed imperfections with wood work and faucets. Including, a door has been installed UPSIDE DOWN, and it has still not been fixed four months later. The issues continued with driveway and grading. Overall, I do not think we will build with Pacesetter again. I know all builders are similar, but I had heard Pacesetter service was poor from others, and we chose them anyway because of the experience we had with the sales team. Our mistake. We are very sad that this was our first-time home buyer experience.

We've been in our house for just over a year now. Right from the beginning the sales team was great; Tracy did everything she could to make sure we were completely satisfied with our floor plan and the customisation's we made to it. Overall quality and craftsmanship are excellent with the (very minor) issues/deficiencies we've had getting resolved in an acceptable timeline.

Pacesetter builds high quality homes and has exceptional service compared to many of the builders I’ve encountered over the years. Wende Campbell in particular is the most incredible new home sales representatives I have ever worked with. She goes above and beyond for her clients. She is excellent with communicating throughout the entire process and very informative. I’m so pleased with everything she has done for us and cannot thank her enough. Thank you Wende for your service!

They made my home, and they did a fantastic job !!! I love it. They helped with everything. If you have questions call and ask, wanna do a walk through , call and ask , they will alter all there plans for you.if they can make it work. I have had an amazing experience with them and I believe more people should buy home from them !!!!

I booked an appointment over the Christmas break to visit the Showhomes in Summerwood and was left extremely disappointed. I booked for December 28th as the website had said it was open by appointment only on December 27th and 28th and then open December 29th and 30th. Right after booking the appointment I received an e-mail confirmation cc'ing the rep as well to confirm. The day of the appointment I loaded up my 6 year old and 5 month old in -33, warmed up my vehicle, wasted time and fuel to drive there to wait for 20 minutes to get no answer and a voicemail saying no one is around. The voicemail I received said the area manager is away until January 3rd. Extremely unprofessional and a huge waste of time. I sent an e-mail to three different e-mails and couldn't even get a reply. If they aren't willing to even acknowledge someone or apologize for a mistake I can only imagine how they would handle issues with your home if anything were to happen. Extremely unprofessional and disappointing considering this will be one of the largest purchases in most peoples lives.
