Zac took the time to help my friend and I with our kayaks and he was awesome!! Great customer service guys. Keep it up. We park our kayak here and would recommend to anyone.

Attendant was very nice, very helpful and friendly. The ramp is nice and steep, making it easy to launch and retrieve. The river however had some late summer shallow weedy areas... not a lot of channel buoys to help. Got caught in weeds twice. A bit pricey, no doubt because of proximity to huge residential new boat owner area.
K	Kathleen Black on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ The customer service for boat rentals is terrible - no help getting the boats or equipment, the person working today actually took the equipment I was getting, to instead give it to the people who arrived after us. Dows Lake has much better customer service, better boats and equipment for the same price. The staff at Dow’s Lake actually help customers get equipment and get safely into the boats. It’s unfortunate this is the only place in Orleans with boat rentals - I encourage anyone interested in starting a business in Orleans to create competition for them because their customer service is the worst I’ve experienced for boat rentals anywhere.

We were lied to, repeatedly given the runaround, and only told they "don't accept sailboats" when we arrived WITH THE SAILBOAT (and yes, we told them dozens of times exactly what kind boat it was) after more than a month of coordination. I absolutely pity the staff that have to try and deal with such an incompetent owner. Perhaps most insulting, even after all of this, the owner never bothered to speak with me directly, despite having repeatedly insisted (through his employees, of course) that he would be in touch at various points throughout this ordeal. Even going so far as to insist that he was not too busy to take phone calls from staff, but could absolutely not make time to speak with a customer so as to further obfuscate and delay. I cannot stress this enough: no one should have anything to do with this establishment.

I kept reaching out and getting staff who couldn't answer my questions, but was reassured that they could help and that management would contact me to confirm details. I arrived with the boat and was told they didn't really have the equipment to pull it out and that the manager "doesn't like sailboats". Their lack of clear policies and communication stressed me out and cost me time and money.
