โ โ โ โ โ A cozy shop offering Japanese goods to Vancouverites, this shop has an interesting curation of productions. You are not likely to find the popular pieces that many Japanese gift shops offer in Vancouver or Toronto, which makes this place great to visit every season for new surprises. The shop carries pottery, brewing accessories, clothing, art prints, plant accessories, stationery (mostly notepads), as well as jewelry and magazines. I would say that the selection is based on up and coming Japanese or Japanese-Canadian artisans or brands. Not much detail is presented to the customer when browsing though, and as a big fan of Japanese craftsmanship, I sometimes like to learn about the products' creation and care. For instance, the adorable pouch I purchased has a thoughtful design detail that I really appreciate, but I didn't find out about it until after I paid!

โ โ โ โ โ Really nice boutique in the heart of Gastown. Convenient location with parking and transit options nearby. Lots of nice home decor, clothing, accessories, books, plants, jewelry, cards, art - there's something for everyone. Friendly and helpful staff, beautiful storefront.

โ โ โ โ โ If you are in the area, itโs a must to stop by. They have a beautifully curated collection of glassware, ceramics, some clothing, books, stationery, etc. Itโs a good mixture of Japanese brands/small business and local ones.

โ โ โ โ โ A very clever and carefully curated Japanese inspired store right in Gastown. The owners are delightful, friendly and helpful. We spent quite a while in the quaint store just looking at everything. The vintage shop in the basement is also amazing, be sure to check that out too. Check out this store if youโre ever in Gastown!
