After working with another lawyer at different firm for several months to get my case resolved, I realized that I had made a mistake in choosing legal representation. ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ In April of 2017 my son was involved in an argument with his girlfriend. While they were arguing, she stepped away and tripped. My son tried to break her fall and landed on top of her. She didn’t press charges, but based on the statements of witnesses, the police did charge my son with assault.
We met with Peter Hoare who immediately took action on behalf of our son, who was unaware that he was to appear in court the following day.
Peter laid out all of the options so that our son could make an informed decision.
We found Peter to be action oriented, thorough, efficient, and realistic with an honest sense of humour.
Peter is also an excellent communicator. He considers the clients input and keeps you informed as the process unfolds.
He is also easily accessible to discuss issues as they arise.
Peter was able to find a creative solution, which involved short term private counselling, and resulted in the charges being withdrawn.
By year end, just over 6 months later the police file regarding the incident had been cleared of any reference to the matter.
….. We could not have anticipated a better outcome.
Peter’s fees were reasonable given the work that was required on his part..
