★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Great restaurant. Perfect for Saturday nights or Friday nights. Gets really busy on those nights around 7 pm so I suggest you call them and reserve a table. It’s also bring your wine. So you can bring a bottle or two of wine and they will serve it for you.
Their pasta is the best thing they serve in my opinion, the smoked duck pasta, duck confit, mostly all their pasta sauces. The portion is great too so you might have some left overs to take back home. They offer fresh black pepper and parmigiana cheese on top at no charge, unlike some other restaurants that’s as you to pay extra for that.
They usually have Soap of the day or a speciality on weekends. Things that I tried and I didn’t like was the chicken parmigiana plate and the lasagne plate was ok wasn’t so impressed by it.
Their salmon tartare is great! I prefer the one with the yogurt option and not the sesame oil one. It comes with bread, arugula and figs. Appetizers are great. The am ambience of the place is great, well decorated, staff is very friendly. Expect to spend around 35-40$ there for your meal.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ The appetizers and main course were simply delicious. The calamari was fresh and totally yummy, the aranicini melted in your mouth, the chiken pargiana was sumtiously coated with cheese and the lamb shank was so delicious.
The portions were generous. We plan to visit again to try the rest of the menu...NOT Disapointed.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Very, very poor food quality as well as poor quality in service. I went there for a birthday brunch with my family and left very disappointed. The food was bland, it literally tasted like nothing. We had to put syrup, salt, ketchup, etc. to make the food taste decent. We got there and our food came back nearly 2 (TWO!!) hours after we ordered!
On top of the extremely long wait time and the bland food, it almost felt like a chore to ask to be served for anything as the waitress would leave before we got time to answer her after she asked us “if everything was ok”
It cost us nearly $100 for 3 people, for bland food, bad service and very long wait time. I do not recommend nor will be returning to this location and word of caution: EVERYTHING counts as an “extra” which racks up the price immensely.
Save yourself some time and money and go to Ben et Florentine or even La Crêppa if you’re looking for a breakfast restaurant in the region.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Restaurant is clean, ambiance great and service was good. Unfortunately food is not tasty at all. For example good pizza must have great tasting ? tomato sauce.. this one did not taste at all and pepperoni not cooked properly.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ This restaurant in Gatineau is absolutely amazing with their customer service and their allergy awareness. The menu has a section for safe food that does not contain specific allergens. Very friendly staff that went above and beyond. We will 100% recommend to our various allergy groups and to our friends. Thank you for a wonderful experience. 1 small thing, it's BYOB, we didn't know but that was ok. The meal itself was great.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Excellent! Love the food we had, yummy breakfast! ? good service, just don't be confuse in the morning they're called L'eggspress and in the evening Ottavio ? different names but the same address..anyways you will like their food for sure whether you go for breakfast or Supper!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Large restaurant that holds a lot of people, good food, nice presentation of meals on dishes, clean, friendly staff but poor service. We waited almost two hours before getting our food. During this time no one refilled water or drinks or checked on us until someone complained. The meals were also on the pricey side but we knew this before hand.

Not busy for my last visit. Receptionist is nice. Server is good. Food portion is average. Place is clean. Two stars off because my mussels are not fresh (sauce is ok)
