on Monday April 20 2015 my dear girlfriend passed away. next Sunday April 26 I asked the pastor Howard to announce this to the congregation and for prayer and other emotional support. he refused. it was one of the single most painful things that ever happened to me, Im sitting at the very front after the sermon, tears pouring down my face and not ONE of the parishioners consoled me. many wouldnt even *look* at me. about 2 weeks later one of the ladies took to the lecturn for 5 to 10 minutes and in detail explained why another of the flock was absent, that they had passed away. at the end of that sermon I asked Howard why he refused to take some 15-20 seconds when I asked prior, to let the people know of my unbearable grief and loss. came the reply, 'she didnt attend'. really? thats it Howard? puzzling. fast forward to October 2 2017. Im in the Monday men's prayer group getting interrupted for the umpteenth time and getting very exaspirated by it, having spoken at length to one other attendee about why this happens. this on top of numerous examples of the exclusionism and elitism at Open Door, like the time I offered to help with the building project SIX TIMES in about an hour and a half and got summarily rejected every time. on top of numerous other times previously, likewise rejected, and despite having the time, tools, >5 yrs experience, ability and desire to participate and contribute to completion of the project. no matter, 'you can sweep the floor' is what I got. in other words clean up *someone else's mess*. so there. so the message I get from Open Door after attending the better part of 3 years is that Im not to be included in the 'elite, exclusive, central, core, special' group. I sent Howard an email 'Dealing with Christians' chronicling this pattern since the late 60s from numerous churches. 3 of which no longer exist. gee, why is that? oh, and anybody hears rotten stuff about me from the 'grapevine', feel free to park that next to this little factoid that I was the victim of sexual abuse at the hands of my own mother and beaten regularly by teachers, siblings, classmates, 'friends', strangers etc etc for some 15 of those early very formitive years. i.e. the ones *supposed to* intervene and prevent it. try that some time and see what happens to your outlook. but Im still the 'bad guy', right London? right Open Door? a.k.a. 'dont let it hit you on the way out'.

Being an international student and finding a church that is very welcoming and loving would be a dream for every student Finally I found the church which has great people who loves God and are very passionate about the Lord , the heaven and the afterlife with yahveh . I suggest people from any country , religion to come to this church and be saved By faith through grace of God because the end is near.

some really nice folks, but, if you attend a meeting esp the men's monday meeting be prepared to get interrupted a LOT. it all depends on where you are in the pecking order. I spoke to one of the senior mgmt team about this but then covid hit so there hasnt been a chance to see if there were any policy and procedure changes. my assessment is actually 1 1/2 but certainly better than the lowest '1'. they talk about forgiveness a lot and then promptly do a bunch of stuff to test your forgiveness. again, based on where you are in the pecking order. like all formal official christian organizations.
