Very affordable room. Even comes with free meals. Recreational facilities could use updating along with limited entertainment on site. Staff wasn't friendly at check in and there seems to be way too much paperwork when I checked out. Overall probably the best hotel in town, which isn't saying much.

Similar to another comment ,never any staff available and although lunch time posted never back when meant to be. As for Police check before Covid always went to Perth , doing the check online you still have to pick up at Police Station and they send to closest one , so unfortunately that is CP.

The worst place possible to get a police check. There is never anyone working at the desk for staffed hours. Every single time I've gone there I've waited 15 minutes + with a group of frustrated individuals. I've gotten in immediately maybe 2 times over the last 4 years. This is NOT okay. If someone can't be at the desk working with the public during the staffed hours (which are next to nothing) then hire someone else. This is so frustrating and a huge waste of time - I always leave upset. Do your check online if possible or go to a reliable station.

The front desk is a joke. Despite being available to the public from M-F, 8am to 4pm, they DON'T ANSWER THE PHONE on Tuesdays or Thursdays, nor any lunch hour on the other three days. You are invited to leave a message of course, although you are warned it'll be 1 to 2 business days before they get back to you. I had to get electronic fingerprints done for my citizenship application, and after scheduling an appointment, paying the fee, and actually doing the fingerprints I was told they'd automatically be sent to the destination agency. Three months later I got a notification from Immigration Canada warning me of a FINAL NOTICE for providing fingerprints. After visiting the OPP in person it turns out that [1] they didn't send them due to missing some information, and that [2] they NEVER CONTACTED ME regarding this info. Rather, they just let the document sit in their office until I inquired about it in person (which I would of done over the phone IF THEY WOULD ANSWER).
