My daughter is quite tall for an 11 year old, but we were still able to find clothing for her today.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ This place has saved us many times in situations, when the school announced a specific color day (e.g. orange shirt day, or Christmas sweater day) and we had to quickly go and grab something. Update: if you plan to drop off some lightly used kids clothes, make sure these items have labels with size on them. Otherwise these items cannot be resold. Additionally, in covid times all items should be brought in a plastic box (we had simple one from a dollar store). If not a plastic box, then a reusable plastic bag, the one that is multi-use, thick plastic material. ;) if items are not accepted, there is a donation container close by, near Scotia Bank.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Tried to resell some gently used kids clothes & shoes here…. Not even worth the gas. They offered 1$/piece for items in almost new condition (a couple still had tags on), which was a fraction the value. Then they resell for min 10X that price. I’d rather donate instead - I’d feel better!

I drive 40mins there and I was shocked the store is closed. I wouldn't have gone there if the opening hours were not updated by business few hours ago.
That is totally unfair. Do not update if your are not sure.
Also, on the door, nothing to tell customers about your operating hours.
Returning 5 stars for your prompt response.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Today was the worst experience at this once upon a child. As I was shopping the cashier's were chatting loudly about how their boss never listens and is terrible. The one girl stating that she can't work certain days as her child has cheer and she just simply won't show up. Then their loud conversation moved onto schools being closed due to covid. They ranted about their personal opinions. If this wasn't unprofessional enough when I went to cash out I asked where a change table was for my baby. The girl checking me out explained they only have a bathroom for the staff and we could go to the subway restaurant at the end of the plaza. I explained I had just come from another once upon a child location where I used the bathroom for my baby. The girl responded in a very caddy and snarky tone explaining that they are just a franchise and the store owner even took out the change table. I was shocked by hearing this and said so, as this is a children's store. I asked "is it legal to not provide the bathroom to children?" Which then all the girls working responded in a rude tone that because of covid they can. They went on to say another reason is because this specific once upon a child is the smallest location. Another girl pipped up saying "not for long". As if that has anything to do with it. The girls continued to explain in a snarky tone and point out that the owner watches the video cameras. After all the years of shopping here I definitely will not anymore and I won't be recommending this location. The staff were snotty and rude. I definitely can do without hearing the staffs personal dramas while shopping either. Besides the odd great find, this store has gone down hill.
