We warmly welcome you to relax and enjoy the view of the peaceful sandy shores of Providence Bay.

Providence Bay is located on the south shore of the "Largest Freshwater Island in the World". Manitoulin Island is the jewel of North America's Great Lakes. The Island is dotted with lakes, woods, farms and small communities including many First Nation communities.

We are located on the longest sand beach on Manitoulin Island.

Relax and enjoy the panoramic view over Providence Bay beach from our upper sun deck, or our comfortable recreation lounge or just lounge on our lower decks where you can savour the quiet serenity of the beach and enjoy the calm water with its reflections of many colours.

A	Ashley on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ If you have the opportunity to stay on Manitoulin island and need a place to stay, might I suggest On the bay bed and breakfast to you. The house is so warm, cozy and inviting. Ingrid and Trevor made us feel right at home and like one of the family. Wonderful location right on Providence bay, wonderfully cooked breakfasts, and the rooms were vary spacious and comfortable. There are also many wonderful things to see and do within walking distance. I’d also suggest walking on the boardwalk and going to Lake Huron’s fish and chips, not even a five minute walk from On the bay. Would definitely go back in a heartbeat. Thanks guys for making our stay enjoyable.

Providence Bay is beautiful, peaceful, refreshing and the sunsets are exquisite. Breakfast was hearty and delicious and fueled our adventurous days. Ingrid has an especially vast knowledge of every nook and cranny and business on the island. You don’t need a plan cause she’ll map one out for you that is a perfect mix of beautiful countryside drives to cute quaint local artisan shops to delicious eats and stunning lookouts. We had a delightful time.

The room is very nice with all necessary amenities provided, and access to a spacious balcony. Breakfast was delicious and filling; it felt like a brunch from a restaurant with hashbrowns, eggs, toast, etc. Ingrid and Trevor are also very friendly and were present to answer our questions about the island. Providence beach is just a short 2 minute walk away. Highly recommend and we will be back!

Accomodations are fantastic, and the location could not be better. Breakfast was above and beyond! Breakfasts everyday were varied and tasty. Our hosts went out of their way to accommodate our dietary needs. Ingrid and Trevor provided lots of helpful information about ways to enjoy the Island. They made our experience even better than expected. The B and B is just steps away from a beautiful beach. The Boardwalk is a must do experience. We highly recommend On The Bay B&B .. We hope to return again next year!

Ingrid and Trevor were amazing hosts and ensured our stay was not only comfortable but enjoyable. Right from Day 1 they ensured we were comfortable and catered to all our needs. They followed all protocols and regulations required during COVID. Very clean and beautiful rooms with all amenities. Really enjoyed their breakfast. Especially their homemade bread. I would love to have the recipe ?. Looking forward to visiting them again.
