Two or more tune up's have gone wrong, tried to return / exchange things I bought there and they weren't accepted. Most of the things I've bought here have had some sort of mess up.
R	Ryan Pope on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Pretty unimpressed - I called asking about a bike tune up and was told the wait was pretty long, 2 weeks and the earliest was April 18th. Not really surprised since we are getting into summer so I said no problem, put it in my calendar and dropped it off on the 18th. I dropped it off without any issue. I called a week later since I hadn't heard anything and they told me that since I dropped it off 6 days late it was "de-prioritized". I understand that miscommunications can happen, but I put it in my calendar and made sure to drop it off on time. No one even said anything when I dropped it off. Anyways they doubled down on their mistake, blamed me and were unwilling to correct it - Again, I wouldn't have cared if they had done something to make it right. These are the sort of CX issues that plague the St. Marys location. No one appreciates that sort of treatment.

I’ve always liked the products (they carry Marin, which is lovely) but on my last visit I had great interactions with staff at both bike drop-off and pick-up. Come to think of it, I guess there was really only one sour guy over the years that bugged me, but he’s either gone or has changed his whole outlook on life. Anyway, they did a great job tuning up, but the reason I decided to write a review is that when I brought my bike to a different shop last year they put on tires that were a sliver too big for my bike and they rubbed my brake cable. Their idea was to use a zip tie to keep it out of the way. So I did. This year, when I noted this to Olympia, the guy nonchalantly noted it. When I picked it up I read the detailed notes they left on what they did to it, I learned they came up with a rather elegant and creative solution that showed a high degree of caring and service. THAT’s what motivated me to write this. And the kicker: they didn’t even charge me more—just the regular tune up fees.

This is not unique to Olympia but they also had the products. I ended up with a Marin Bobcat trail 4. With a few upgrades this really good bike has become a great bike. Thanks for the great help. I'll definitely be back.
L	Lynette Chartier on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I was in to the store to buy a new bike this week (after having great service in January 2022 on other purchases) and this time it was one of the new owners of the shop who assisted me. All of my questions were answered and extra information provided. While the bike was having the accessories put on, another staff member helped me with choosing a helmet. The service from both these gentlemen was friendly, courteous and most helpful. To my delight, the owner generously gave me a discount on the helmet and accessories as this was a new bike purchase and I would need the extras. Definitely not something he needed to do but I most appreciated it! I would recommend this shop to anyone needing the type of equipment/ products they can supply. Last but not least, what came through clearly, is that this management team wants people to enjoy their purchases and feel good when exercising - whether biking or skiing.

The only thing that was disappointing before was the website as it was lacking a lot and so I was very happy to see with the new ownership that they updated the website. It was nice to see a refresh on the inside as well.
