Olson Diesel Ltd. got its start back in 1972, when it was known as Stan Olson Diesel. After Stan’s retirement in 1994, new ownership expanded operations to our current location and has continued to serve Eastern Saskatchewan and Western Manitoba with the highest quality diesel engine repair and service facility in the area. Current management is not afraid to get their hands dirty, taking an active part in the day-to-day business of Olson Diesel Ltd. and staying true to the philosophy that every member of our team is a contributing part of the company.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I called about getting info on an aftermarket injector rebuilt for my cummins, but I'm from out of town so I just needed a quote. The guy I talked with went so far as to explain reasons why the injectors fail, what a rebuild entails, what parts cost, and answered other questions I had about my cummins. Very friendly, down to earth, and honest. If I wasn't from Edmonton I would definitely go here for anything I need done for my truck.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ After years and at least 4 shops including the Chevy dealer trying to figure out why my diesel Suburban kept dying, Olson figured it out. An electrical control was overheating. A small inexpensive fan to cool that module was installed and it hasn't died since.
It's now over 20 years old and still runs great.
The shops before that...including specialized diesel shops in Saskatoon had cost me thousands in new injectors and pumps and an entirely rebuilt fuel system.
But Olson's little fan did the trick.
Highly recommended.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Bought a diesel truck that had the head redone on it by Olsen. 9 grand on the recept in glove box. Had some injector issues so took it in. After a quick look under the hood they said that the head indeed had not been wrenched on that I got ripped off. Only after that did I show that they were In fact the ones that did the work.... Don't take your vehicle here! Iv heard other horror stories of this crooked shop.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Would never do business with them again! Bunch of crooks. Not only was my repair bill twice as much as quoted they never bothered to call me about the extra costs if in fact they even did the work now that I have read other people's reviews on this shop. Quoted 3000 turned out to be 6000. But paid full price for a tuner 1900$ which they insisted on installing. Turns out it was just a used one or a Chinese knock off. Serial number is literally just scratched into back. For someone that doesn't have money growing on a tree this is a huge hit. Could have bought a used one for much cheaper but wanted some warrenty, which they didn't stand behind anyway .No one Iv talked to has anything good to say about this shop. DO NOT take your truck here or buy anything! Can't even describe the financial hardship it's cost our family. Wish we went to Petrichuks service instead.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I drove 1300kms with my sick and dying dog and all of my posessions in my truckj. My duramax which is anything but stock broke down and i started to panick. It was freezing -43 degrees. The chevy dealership wouldnt even consider helping me i went to a toyota dealership they said you know what wait here we know someone. I was directed to OLSEN DIESEL. I showed up in panick mode and upset. Terry and his team kept my dog and myself warm while they moved vehicles around to make me a priority. They problem solved quickley and fixed the truck for an incredible price stating we do not like to see people stranded. I was greatful. Best experience ive ever had with a diesel shop. Having a diesel can be intimidating as they can be complicated. Stock OR anything but OLSEN DIESEL has your back, they had mine. Also phoning me on the rest of my journey lke a family friend making sure i was safe and the truck was sound. Thankyou OLSEN DIESEL you guys are the best! GREAT SHOP GREAT SERVICE and in general overall great attitude!! Thankyou thankyou thankyou to Terry and his team of professionals.
