Olivella Events & Catering is owned by the Aminzadah brothers (Samim, Tam, Ahmad & Ramin). With years of owning and operating restaurants and bars in Calgary and Edmonton, the brothers saw a need for a premier event management and catering company with a restaurant style focus on food quality and exceptional hospitality.

With existing distribution channels, and access to some of the best executive chefs in Calgary, the brothers created a menu inspired by quality ingredients from around the world.

With millions of existing annual sales, the Aminzadah brothers have leveraged their relationship with the largest food and alcohol distributors to get some of Calgary’s lowest costs – which is difficult for most catering companies as their sales volumes are much lower. As such Olivella is able to use the best ingredients, have lower prices for its consumers, and still maintain a healthy profit margin.

The brothers have also brought on talented chefs, who have been able to survive and thrive in their kitchens, to ensure every item is prepared to their high standards.

From booking our event with Sam to the day of our event with Tam our event manager everything was perfect. The food was some of the best food we could have ever had for our Christmas Party. Angela who was our bartender was phenomenal with making sure staff were able to get the drinks that they wanted. We will for sure be using Olivella again for future events!

The food was delicious, they were organized and efficient and made the whole day completely stress-free. They even took the time to visit the venue the day before since they had never worked there before to ensure it all went smoothly. I can't recommend them enough.

Joy and Joshu worked with us to find an incredible solution where we were able to cater an amazing meal when the restrictions were finally lifted and we could host our friends and family. Their food was so delicious and we could not believe how much food we got! They also had all the extras to make our dinner complete like disposable cutlery, plates, napkins etc! They went above and beyond and we couldn't be more pleased with their service, their professionalism and their generosity! We would recommend Olivella to anyone and we will use them again! We had a last minute decision to get wine glasses and they were able to pull it off . The quality of the food was such a hit all our guest told us immediately how fantastic the food was. We went with the catered gold buffet option and it was such great value for our the quality.
