T	Teresa Raymakers on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Rate it a 2 because of the view on the deck BUT things were not very good. Bed VERY squeaky,bathtub WOULD NOT drain,slanting floor, light on deck left on ALL night But turned out when we got up at 630. Not worth the money

The view from thw property is nice but the rooms themselves are outdated. The smoke detectors are no longer to code. The heat didnt work. A coffee maker with no coffee. A bed that slanted. 2 pillows that were flat. The shower was good but that is it. Peeling paint/wallpaper. There was also zero salting or shovelling during the winter. It was icy! We paid for a hotel in the US the next day for way less (in CDN), with a beautiful room, pool, hottub, breakfast.

The bathroom sink hot water tap took over 20 minutes to even get hot. When I had a shower the tub started filling up right away. The exhaust fan was broken in the bathroom. My door did not lock at all I told the owner the first day he did nothing.
J	John Marsh on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ This place is a dump. I cannot think of a single good thing to say about the rooms themselves. Pillows as flat as paper. Rooms outdated. The bed wasn’t even level. My feet were higher than my head. Super old microwave. A coffee maker from the dollar store and no coffee in the room to make. Over $100 for the night and I am furious at what a dump this place is. The next night I stayed in Green Bay Wisconsin and for only $80 CND all inclusive I got a beautiful room with full breakfast included, swimming pool and hot tub. How Old Mill Motel is staying in business charging $100 for that run down dump is beyond me. It’s worth MAYBE $40 per night TOPS and even then I would recommend you find somewhere else.
z	zi Xue on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Good motel location for long drive. The rooms were nice and they have the full amenities minus a hair dryer. The close location to the lake means that you can walk to the beach to relax and to fish and enjoy the best of views.
L	Limitless YB on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I was going on a very long drive up North in my U-Haul and needed a place to stay in the middle of the night. I was given a room right away and upon entry noticed it was very clean and well put together. Very cosy and comfortable, loved the beds. The owners were very nice and were very quick to respond to my needs. The wifi was a little confusing but was on point. The lake view in the morning was lovely. The only downside would be no smoking but there’s a porch outside with a bench so it wasn’t too big of a deal. Overall great stay, if I’m passing by again I’d definitely stay.
