★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I have been renting from Okanagan Water Sports for the past 3 years and have always had the best experience with them. Very friendly staff and owner, their prices are fair and if you want to take boats for different amounts of times than stated the owner will work out a deal for you.
I read a previous review and was shocked someone felt ripped off by Mardy, I have never had any extra charges or had to forfeit my security deposit, but I also take care of the boats and jet skis I rent from him.
100% would recommend!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ We rented out a boat here and were very excited for it because we were promised a tube with the boat. Firstly, once we got there the workers told us that they had no tube for us and this is after we were promised by THREE different people that we would have one. Luckily a nice gentleman got us a tube for the boat ride (thank you). A lot of attitude was shown to us by everyone, the vibe was just off. No one helped us with life jackets. Just not friendly start.
During the time in the water, we used the tube for about 30 minutes and noticed that the tube was starting to deflate. We pulled it back in and continued to enjoy the rest of our boat experience. We were done and when we left we got a call from someone that worked here saying that we had damaged the tube and a part of it was missing. I have never been so confused as we felt that we were given a product that didn't even last for 30 minutes!!! They accused us for damaging a tube and charged us an addition $270 to cover the expense. We tried to talk to them and explain that the tube should not have deflated in the first place which was also a concern for our safety. However, after discussing and trying to reason with the worker for almost an hour (who was extremely rude and loud) they took the money out of the security deposit (which was 2500 btw).
Terrible experience, we ended up paying so much more for something that was NOT our fault. Please try to reason with your clients and actually hear them out.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I will highly recommend this place to rent your fun day at the lake. First, when everyone was sold out for rent I still found a seadoo available on this location. Second , don’t forget any of your belongings otherwise you will make Marty work double or triple to figure it out, and even though he find it, and send it back by currier which I really appreciate it. If you looking for a company and the owner is the person who dealing issues with you and even respond the reviews is a GOOD company for sure.
So, don’t hesitate to rent with them I will be back for sure next year to rent a boat this time( and Marty don’t worry I promise to keep on eye all my belongings when I finished.LOl)

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ HORRIBLE SERVICE. super rude staff and specially the owner. They don’t honestly care about their customers as long as their boat gets rented. They are rude. Even if it costs a little more to rent a boat somewhere else go to that place instead!! You will be saving time. We booked our boat and we literally had to weight an extra hour to get our boat!! You are just going to waste your time and they will literally not care about you. From the experience I had, if I could give them a 0 I would. Reading all the other reviews as well I can see this is a regular issue.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Definitely would give this business zero stars if at all possible. Once finishing all paper work for the agreed upon rental, paying our deposit our group waited at the boat launch for over 35 minutes for the business owner to arrive. Upon seeing a group of 9 individuals the owner decided to make a judgement call about this boat being unsafe for 9 adult males. The website clearly indicated (and still does) that the capacity is 14 max. Our group is of course confused as to what it was that now suddenly deemed the rental inappropriate. As this was happening a mother and her family noticed what was going on and warned us that this business owner had previously scammed them during their one experience with him. She also said avoid this business at all costs. This "Karen" had no remorse about making a subjective call at the boat launch with very little explanation except for "its unsafe and the boats too difficult to drive". We are lucky the ladies at the front desk were kind of enough to return all our money based upon the history of this business on Google. We went to another company in Kelowna and had a great experience on the same boat (with exactly the same number of people) and we would recommend you do the same.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ If you are looking to rent in the Okanagan area this is one of the good company’s I recommend! I had a bad experience at the downtown marina last year and was charged $700 for a missing screw. These guys are thorough when doing damage checks and they are very honest and caring people. I won’t go anywhere else. Thanks for making my experience on the Okanagan lake 10x more fun !

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ We rented a party boat this past Saturday. Experience was awesome! We were late for our 10am meet but Okanagan Water Sports was able to accommodate. Tom was super helpful getting us into the water and giving us instructions on how to use the boat. We originally booked for four hours and wanted to extend. Again you guys were super accommodating and we were able to keep the boat for another two hours. Other staff member we met when we were docking (forgot his name) made check out process super simple. Overall great flow from start to finish, looking forward to using you guys again next time were in town!

Polite, fun, energetic, and accommodating to your needs. Well trained, and no b.s. I highly recommend this place in West Kelowna, worth the drive, worth the time and money.
