★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Working with Julie Hoffman saved my life. I had a JV partner by the name of Jon Simcoe steal 200K of capital raised in my name and skip town. I ended up suing Jon, and in the meantime, try to salvage a deal for which I was left holding the bag. That’s where Julie came in; while I had done as much as I could with my very limited level of expertise, I was looking at bankruptcy while the other investor in the deal Jon had scammed was potentially going to loose her 250K investment, Julie was able to help us structure the deal to create a win-win so that all invested parties could break even. I would’ve never been able to do it without her. She was so professional and was always on the ready to help with any speed bumps and communication.
For anybody looking to do any due diligence on my story, the court case is 191300455. Everything is public, including the judgement that I won against Jon Simcoe. No affidavit (evidence) was ever submitted by the opposing party, and he was found in contempt of court for not participating in a court order to show up.

OREIG is an amazing for forum for real estate investors to learn successful real estate investing strategies.
