Really would help to have more signage, rating the different parts of the trail, distance etc. We did the entire loop, but once we climbed to the top, and discovered we couldn't go right and climb done around the lake, rather then backtrack, we continued on to the furthest part and came around to join a FSR back to the start. LONG hike. 26.66 kms, with over half in a steady rain. Beautiful views at the Top!

This is a beautiful campground. Lots of big beautiful trees. Very well maintained. Lots of separation between sites so each campsite has good privacy from their neighbours. Great fire pit and picnic tables at each site. Clean washrooms and showers. No power or water on site. I suggest you bring your own water as the last 2 years we have been here there is a boil water order. Great activities are close by if you want to spend time in the area. Lots of great wineries in the area to explore. Kettle Valley Bike Trail head is a short drive away. Many orchards fruit and vegetable stands selling fresh local produce. Beautiful lake with beach access at the campground for campers only so it's not over crowded. Water is crystal clear. Awesome for swimming. Nice walking trail connects the North and South campgrounds. Beautiful views across the water of the Mountain Range. Great water access for paddleboarding and other water sports.

The North campground is well spaced and most of the sites have shade. The South side reminds me of US trailer parks. The bathroom and showers are cleaned and the staff is friendly. The main trail is closed right now due to a rock slide. Once off the first camping row the noise from the highway can barely be heard. The beach is rocky but good place to relax for the day. There is no park or open field to play but Summerland waterfront park is not far away. A great short drive to get away for the weekend.

A beautiful campground that descends from near the highway all the way down to the lake. The washrooms are well placed and clean, and there are showers too. Water faucets are easy to get to, and the sites are well kept and clean. I recommend getting a site a little further down the hill if you can.

This park is located on Hwy 97 and is easy to find. There are two campgrounds at this We camped at the North campground and hiked along a very nice lakeside trail to the South Campground. It is a rather long walk, but the trail is at lake level and is well maintained. North Campground is on a terraced hillside with large level sites spaced well apart to provide privacy. Clean washrooms with showers are available in both campgrounds. The South campground has mostly small sites with little or no privacy but some great views. Boat launch, playground, and amphitheater are at the South campground. The showers are free and there is parking available at the shower houses. Drinking water taps are available at both campgrounds. Good shade in both campgrounds.

The lake and views were good. The south campsite is very disappointing 90% of the spots are super crammed together. No privacy and the spot we had was over grown and paved pad was 2' narrow per side because it needed to be sweeped, trimmed back and debris shoveled away S41. North side is a lot more spaced out but walk down the hill to get to beach.

Don't forget to try those peach ciders - they are delicious! Heat waves brought wildfires, so planes taking up water right in front of you. But these waves also make the incredibly clean water pretty warm +23 in the morning and +24 in the evening.
