But thanks to Official Languages School's Preparation for the Oral Proficiency Test: Level B or C in 30 hours, I was able to achieve this goal. If you are a fonctionnaire [federal public servant] looking for French language training in Ottawa, there is no better school than Official Languages School and no better teacher than Honoré. His enthusiasm and passion for teaching is was exceptional and makes each session a productive and enjoyable one. I was not surprised to hear from one of his collegues that he holds a Ph.D. in linguistics. I highly recommend Official Languages School to anyone who wants to learn French quickly and effectively in a positive and dynamic environment.
R	Reanna Sartoretto on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Terrible school. I signed up for courses in November of 2017. We had three classes and then the rest of the term was suspended. The reason given was they were renegotiating their lease. I was told I would receive a partial refund. It is now January of 2018 and I have not received a refund. Various emails have insisted that I keep waiting with no timeline given. Awful. Avoid this "school" at all costs.

After the 3rd class the course was cancelled and I was promised a refund back in November 2017 which I have not received. The teacher would yell at me as I could not say some words. The other 2 students in the class had all learnt French before and one lived and worked in Gatineau. I had never learnt French but was expected to know the basics and to keep up with intermediate students. I am extremely disappointed. A waste of time and money. Stay away from this organisation.
g	glenn harrop on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Classes were cancelled indefinitely after three sessions because of a leasing issue and I'm still waiting for a refund over two months later. The actual quality of the classes was okay at best and my instructor could barely speak English which made it more difficult to learn from them. Update: I got a partial refund two and a half months later after a few unreturned emails. Very unprofessional and would not recommend.
M	Marie on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Horrible! if I could give them a zero I would. I was hoping to practice my French grammar enough to pass my government language test. I paid ALOT of money for private French lessons and learned NOTHING AT ALL! I even brought in my own worksheets that I found online and printed off. The teacher just sat in the room the whole time playing on his phone while I worked on the worksheets I brought in! Oh, and on top of that he'd only speak French (with a heavy accent) therefore, if you didn't understand what he was saying in French too bad for you. I ended up quitting and when I tried to get a refund for the classes I did not take they never returned any of my calls or emails and I didn't get any of the money I paid back. DO NOT take lessons from here, save your money!
