★ ★ ★ ★ ★ So I went to off the cleaver to order a beef wellington after seeing a post on Facebook. I picked it up today and at first I was a little shocked how much they cost. Let me tell you worth every penny and then some! I felt I was at Buckingham palace being served such a delicacy! Treat yourself go get one

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ This is my favourite butcher shop by far. The staff are excellent and provide amazing service, quality, and expertise.
I've been going here, faithfully, for a few years and never had anything but delicious and tender meat.
They can cut to you custom specification and will package your selections in butcher paper or vacuum pack. They are happy to even customise packaging to your preference. I always have my selections packaged in groups for my family's size.
With the great selection, fast & friendly service, great atmosphere, and quality, you'll be thrilled with your experience!

Perfectly aged beef, wonderfully seasoned chicken and pork options, sauces, spices, seasoned salts, cheeses that are out of this world! They offer a homemade garlic cream sauce that will blow you away! Just call ahead and they will make you a custom charcuterie board that will be the envy of all of your neighbors! A true hidden gem nestled in the heart of Whitby. The staff are knowledgeable, friendly and extremely helpful. You will not be disappointed stopping here for all of your dinner party and barbecuing adventures. Ask for a points card because you definitely will be coming back!

Every single employee offers the same high level of knowledge and customer service that the owners offer. Having recently moved to Whitby from Downtown Toronto, I was hoping to find a butcher that not only had quality meat and products, but also made you feel like you are their most preferred client. My family uses Off the cleaver for our regular weekly needs, and have been extremely happy to have them help with our big orders for Christmas, Thanksgivings, and other special occasions.
