★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Its awkward, the old off leash area was great and I get it that some dogs are not listening. So to put a fence up will make it safer but who was that smarty pants to put one gate into it? Half is hill, no shade, no nothing, trail just around the fence line... Again, glad we have it but not to happy with the design and accessibility

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ If this is what passes for an off leash park in Cochrane, then don't waste your time.
There are no trees for dogs to play around or get shade. A huge hill on one side. A swamp in the middle. Absolutely zero river access, so if your dogs go into the swamp, guess how horrible they'll smell without being able to wash them off....
It's pretty much pointless.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Best place to take your dog. Double gated fencing is great. My dog loves going to play with other dogs here. He spends two hours running around playing.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I've love coming here when it's a long weekend or when I want Bailee a different surrounding.
I've never visited during winter, it scares me how the ice really expanded and my dog ventured down the cliff so if u have a water dog... just be careful.
I just wish they would put back the fence on the other side unto the hi-way.
