★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Best off leash park, for reasons other than for dogs. A nice path amongst a forest and the beautiful, volunteer tended gardens. And also the meditation maze. Don't sell yourself short either - up towards the rocky "Alpine garden" is a must, too! Oh, and the porta potty...is the fifth star. ?

Lots of people out enjoying it for a walk on well defined paths, plenty of wildlife despite the surrounding roads (mostly birds and squirrels, but a surprising variety). And the tenders were all active in the garden area. Make sure your dog will listen to you, though, as the main road is not fenced away.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Beautiful garden in the summer time. Off lease dog walking area is a huge bonus. My puppy enjoy the walk and play with other dogs over there. There is no fence so make sure your dog can be called back.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ My 2 dogs and I love this park. People and dogs are all very responsible and well behaved. It's great that it's totally fenced to contain puppies like mine is but also leads to some great paths down towards the river. Highly suggest using this park.

Also looking forward to seeing the park gardens in the summer.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Our favorite dog park in the NW Calgary area. (Emzy) and I try to visit 3 or 4 times a week. Recently we've stopped to chat to the volenteers that keep the place looking beautiful. Some of the kindest people I've met.
The park itself is by a busy street with no fence, so if you're dogs recall isn't the medico, I'd recommend a different park.
The decorations around Christmas time were beautiful.
