★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I cannot, in good conscience, recommend this place. The board has absolute power over your health, happiness, and enjoyment of life - much more so than in a strata condominium building. Why? Because the government's strata act does not cover this kind of condominium building. The board is more powerful than the prime minister, the premier, and any other government figures combined. Unless you have a friend on the board, you have no rights. Any issue you have with board can only be addressed in a courtroom. Former residents who were treated unfairly by the board have sued Oceanbrook and won. If you're a friend of the board, you can do whatever you want and get away with almost anything.
