★ ★ ★ ★ ★ i love the place the staff were great and did a great job helping my doughter and son in law with there wedding love the rooms and is was so peaceful and love the sun set at the privit beach

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Bathroom had mold around the tub surrounding and on the baseboards.
Worse part was bathtub drain was clogged an dirty it would leave nasty chucks of dirt floating in the tub while trying to use. Needless to say we did not use it an there was junk floating in it so gross.
For the price this was a terrible decision.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ This was a business trip for me. My check in literally took about 15 minutes and yes I was the only one checking in so it was not busy at all. The receptionist had no clue on what’s going she could not answer any of my questions and honestly I probably don’t blame her for being untrained. Next morning I go up to front desk to speak with a manger and another front desk worker had no clue who the manager, he tells me that he’s been here for 3 weeks and does not know the name of the direct manager. They were both extremely young and untrained. As far as my room it was very stuffy from the humidity, not having a window to open did not help at all.
I did call the next day to speak with any manager regarding my concerns, I did leave a message but no one called me back, if anyone did call I probably would not have wrote this review.
As far as the whole resort it’s actually nice.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Greatly disappointed. No way, up to RESORT STANDARDS.
As indicated on the website - 100 years old and in need a lot of repairs/ maintenance. We were assured of 1 breakfast and were advised that we would need to pay for the second one. However, when we went in person to confirm the same, we were told that there was no breakfast included in the package and that the dining area was actually closed for breakfast. Stayed for 2 nights.
Allocated the 1st room on the ( 2nd floor), the bath tub and the commode was clogged. Water was not draining. After complaining, we were then moved to a 2nd room on the (Pool Level ) wherein both sinks located in and out of the washroom were clogged and not draining. The shower head was a sprinkle of water, it certainly needs to be replaced. The car park has more gravel than tar.
Not worth the money we paid for a room with a Resort title. Should be down graded to a MOTEL.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Very disappointed, we stayed after all the COVID restrictions had been lifted and the pool was still closed, no coffee makers in room and no coffee in the mornings even put out for their guests in a reception area. When I asked the person working the front counter he could not have cared less and was argumentative. We have stayed at a number of other Ontario resorts during COVID and they all went out of the way to accommodate and assure their guests were looked after. No discounts were offered as compensation we still paid $249 for a very small very outdated room. There are much better options out there…. Keep looking.

Now, the staff were above and beyond friendly and helpful. The place in general was beautiful to walk around and so close to the beach amazing! Can not complaint about that!
Unfortunately the cleanliness of the rooms are not their strongest area.
We got there at night so we could not see much. But we could see bathroom was not properly cleaned before our arrival. The bathtub was extremely dirty and all around was maybe just quickly wiped and left alone.
Next day we realised one of the sheets had stains (we are hoping they were maybe drool stains and nothing even gross)
We covered ourselves with those sheets the night before ??♀️.
Overall, If this gets improved it would be the best place to stay for a little vacation place near the beach for sure!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ The pillows were so uncomfortable the tub didn't like to drain and it was gross to stand in to shower as well as outdated and the baseboards and floors had black mold in the bathroom. The plug by the bed didn't hold the power cords in the electrical outlet.The pool, golf course and access to the beach is all closed, coffee makers in the room were removed due to covid with all restrictions being lifted and no breakfast for 160$ a night plus taxes. I would have been much happier at a best Western for the price paid and the lack of amenities provided. For a golf resort this is place is seriously lacking.
