J	Jason Robinson on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Atmosphere was nice and the staff was friendly. However, when we were seated, our request to sit at the empty table for 2 was denied. The manager/host's explanation was that 3 couples had just sat there so they couldn't seat anyone else there at that time, strange to deny a patron's request. My wife and I came to enjoy the Sunday special of all you can eat pasta and salad bar. The pasta was cooked properly; however, there were toppings missing from the selections, the garlic bread was stale, and the lettuce on the salad bar was brown. We purchased a Cesar and an Iced Tea to drink. Definitely not worth the tax/tip total of over $73. It's saving grace was that it was convenient as it is located on the resort. We will not return to this restaurant.

H	HopsNBarley on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Was there 12/19/2020. My main concern was the service. There were two other tables having drinks. Waitress however pleasant seemed uninterested in serving us. We were very nice left a tip still. But there was no asking for drink refills, I had to chase her down because Diet Coke had no carbonation. I had to move my finished plate off the table to another because there was almost no attention paid to us. She did however have a very good conversation in the kitchen about her personal life. It's ironic because I've owned a cottage in Grand Bend for 16 years and this was my first experience at Oakwood resort. I don't think I'll be returning. Food was average, my hamburger bun was super thick and ice cold, warming it up would have did wonders.
J	JAMcG on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Food was fantastic, ate lunch and dinner there during a 3 day stay at the resort. Staff were friendly and prices are reasonable. Deck is shaded and views part of the golf course and windmills.

I did end up ordering the chicken tenders and asked if I could switch the fries for mashed potatoes. Server said they could do that and I’m glad that I did. The only issue that came up was my dad’s pop was very flat. He ended up just telling server he was fine with just water.
D	David Ray on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Good service , terrible food. I ordered a steak and the wife ordered buttermilk fried chicken. My steak was ordered medium rare as always. I have honestly never seen a steak cooked this rare. It was so raw it wasn't bleeding yet. Chicken was dry and over cooked with no seasoning of any kind. Garlic bread was mushy. $100 and just awful . Avoid if possible atleast for dinner. We will never return.
B	Brit on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Absolutely terrible experience. Went with a group of 9. To start we wanted to order steak & philly cheese steak burgers. When we began to order, the waitress told us then that they had no steak available, fine. So that forced those 3 people to order chicken dishes (2x fried chicken sandwiches & 1 butter chicken dish), which turned out to be extremely undercooked. Rubbery, and pink. Thank god we didn’t get sick…YET. The waitress replaced the two fried chicken sandwiches but forgot to take the other guests order for the raw butter-chicken that came. So to say the least, the 3rd guest didn’t get to order a second dish, he ate left overs since it would take yet another hour. The worst part is they didn’t offer any compensation. I spoke up to say that they should do something instead of charging us for the new dishes delivered. Long story short their compromise was to give us 25% off the bottle of wine we ordered. $6 whole dollars??? What a disappointment. Please do not eat here, there are a million other restaurants that put this one to shame. Terrible experience for a very special family dinner. 0/5 stars.
