Only disadvantage was I had to enter a busy bar to register after a long day on the road. But the staff was super friendly Oh and a amazing complementry breakfast from the restaurant that beats any other hotel.!

t	tim Rollheiser on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ The rooms where nice and big and they where clean . The hotel was quiet and the beds where comfortable. There is enough excellent area to exercise the dogs. The only bad thing was the water stunk so bad that we had to use bottled water to wash our face and brush our teeth.

I guess they are on VoIP because there was so much static the woman couldn't hear me and hung up on me. I got a call from her husband who told me I could have the room for q night but would then have to check out unless another unconfirmed booking did not show up. I was coming from Edmonton and really didn't want to go spend a night or so in my truck. Will never call there again.

H	Harvey Brandt on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I would not recommend purchasing a gift card, or the customer service from administration at Oakbank Motor Hotel. The Oakbank Motor Hotel $100 gift card my wife had purchased for me did not work. It did not show any funds loaded. My spouse and I had to pay for our meal and drinks with our funds instead of being able to use the gift card, when we partook of the bar/grill. The bar/grill did not immediately replace or give the money back for the card. Several days after the incident, I had not received communications from the hotel. I telephoned to inquire. I had to press the issue of card replacement or refund as I was not receiving an offer to recompense. The administrator did not want to give me a new card or give the money back, but instead thought I should wait on the graces and decision of some sort of card company. He said I should see it from his viewpoint. After I insisted on compensation, with poor grace, and after promising a refund, I was given another gift card (after making another trip to the hotel). I was not even given an apology. He just walked away. You can believe I will use up the gift card at the vendor and consider very carefully giving this establishment my business in future.
