★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Decent gym, and we'll priced. Has all the usual equipment and plenty of barbells squat racks and lifting platforms. Chalk is allowed which is rare in Grande Prairie. Gym is kind of small and can be over crowded at peak times

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Great old-school gym, has everything you need, benches, squat racks, free weights, cable machines, etc. Its a smaller gym so it can get busy at times. It's usually less busy in the mornings and evenings.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Where to begin.. this is the gym I started going to when I became serious about fitness and haven't wanted to leave ever since. I work out of town lots and always get different gyms to compare to and GPRC Fitness center is always my favourite.
The community is pretty good, going to the same gym for almost 2 years you know the usuals and everyone's always friendly.
The equipement although older is very well maintained everything is functional and very sturdy.
The dumbell free weights are well organized and free of tripping hazards.
There's enough equipment that allow you to workout all your muscle groups and a nice selection of bars when using cable machines.
The price is reasonable and if your doing cardio and there's a sports game on in the gym below you can watch it from the conscience of your cardio machine!
Also change rooms are spacious andnlots of lockers so your not restricted st all and the benches inside the change rooms are large enough so there's rarely a situation where you can't benefit from them!
I would recommend this gym to anyone cause I know as long as I'm in GP i will more then likely continue my membership at this facility!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ As a student at GPRC, the use of this gym is included in my fees. I love this gym; I use it all the time. Everything you need is here. I love the choice of a a squat rack or a smith. Whatever your goal, you can find something to target it. I go in the morning at opening and am usually the only one there. Honestly, it sometimes feels like my own private gym. Highly recommend it for students.
