worked for 3 years and 6 months. And I have 3 of these garbage. DO NOT BUY!!!!! no good in this businiess

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I have used several nuheat products personally and for my construction business. They break all the time and don't work properly. I spent thousands replacing to different brands. I spoke with Satinder Kler and his service is about the worst I have ever seen in my life. Or maybe Hers not sure, she sounded like a man. They don't know anything about their products. Total garbage customer service, didn't provide any resolution and started talking over me wouldnt let me speak then started yelling at me and hung up. Absolutely disgusting. Should be fired immediately. STAY AWAY FROM THAT COMPANY. NOT WORTH A PENNY.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I just got off the phone with a technical support lady, and she tried to tell me what to do electrically wise when her line of work has nothing to do with, she told me it's no up to code but she referenced the "UL"... the UL is how the product is listed, but it's not the NEC!!!
Then she tells me the spacing of it, when literally on the booklet it says radius of wire is 0.5in!!! She said she's The manager for 16 years, maybe she needs to spend time learning their product before telling someone that knows the code what to do.
Then she started getting aggressive with me, and just hung up the phone. What kind of service is that

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ My Thermostat stopped working within 1 and a half years. It is within the warranty period. I called the service and spoke with Satinder Kler. This is the rudest man I have ever spoke with. He said it was my fault and he will not replace it because the company is struggling financially and they need to preserve ever penny they can. After all I called names and he just hung up the phone. Very low quality products with NON existent customer service. I will be suing this company for not willing to honor their warranty.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Their products can definitely be flaky. We have three NUHEAT thermostats. One has been replaced and another is in the process of being replaced. They are intelligent units so they are bound to be subject to getting outdated as technology advances. But its still frustrating when they decide to stop on their own.
I did have a great experience with their support team. My recent experience calling for support was to deal with a non-functioning Solo unit that was installed in 2012. Upon reaching the technician he immediately advised from my description that the unit could not be reset and that what I was seeing was an indication that the unit was totally kaput. He told me it was phased out in 2015. He then directed me to a local supplier that had a good deal on replacement units.
I had spent a lot of time online trying to figure out what was wrong - as well as looking for an appropriate replacement. I was able to talk to a tech on my first call and spent less than 5 minutes to learn exactly what was going on. The tech saved me a ton of time. I have the replacement on order (at a good price) and will be installing it shortly.
